OK, I too went to a Catholic school in the 50’s. I always thought of it as “conservative” but it wasn’t. And certainly not as compared to yours. I was instructed by dominican nuns – a religious class every day – but I can’t member anything they said EXCEPT that if a person was to practice his or her religion faithfully, it did not matter that their religion was wrong in principle; such people could go to heaven just like Catholics even though Catholicism was actually the one true religion. I gave up “the sticks” about 7 years ago. I loved my smokes. I favored Hoyo de Monterrey Number 1 and Arturo Fuentes Canones. Wasn’t a big smoker, maybe 2-3 per week, 4 stogies at the max. My house does smell better now, and my car headliner is cleaner, most definitely. haha. Might have to go out and buy myself a cigar just for old times sake.
