Last week, Gregory Hood wrote that Republicans may take back the House in the midterm elections this year, and then asked: Should we care? Two days ago, at the inauguration of the new Republican governor of Virginia, I think I learned the answer to that question. In 2020, Virginia voted 55 percent to 45 percent...

America is going to ride the “diversity” train all the way to the bottom of the abyss. The US is lost. If there is hope for Whites in North America, it lies in building a brand new polity after the US has passed away along with the egalitarianism that has always been inherent to it.

Could be a great idea, if we're consistent.

If we really mean to deprive all net tax-consumers of the vote, then soldiers and police "officers", as government employees, shouldn't be able to vote either.

    Replies: @anarchyst

There was a time when federal agencies were prohibited from speaking out on proposed laws and measures that would affect their agency’s mission or funding. It was expected that federal agencies would “stay out of the (political) fray”, and let the legislators “do their jobs” and make the political decisions.
Those days are long gone…agencies make “rules” on their own without oversight from the politicians.
Not only that, the reverse is true, especially with the so-called “Department of Justice” in which the FBI, (America’s version of the KGB), CIA, NSA, NRO, ATF, and DEA are all politicized and being used by the demcRAT party as their own personal political force.
The FBI and the other aforementioned agencies should be abolished with the powers returned to the states.

You could unite as a White voting block, with the explicit declaration of supporting White interests. Why couldn’t (and shouldn’t) Whites pursue openly their own interests? Especially once they are not in absolute majority?

To find out about the latter, you have to demand your government-run demography statistics institutions to clearly distinguish Whites from Hispanic voters (the latter being a linguistic, not a racial category).

Yes. No government employee could vote. That would make an especially big difference in municipal elections, where public school teachers and other municipal workers make up a large proportion of those who bother to vote.

To be really consistent, all government contractors would also be deprived of the vote. This could be difficult to operationalize — for example, a Section-8 landlord, a solar panel manufacturer, and a vaccine producer are all recipients of subsidies that are not easily parsed out from other income.

The Neo-Liberal Democratic Party is not communist - it is corporatist. The leaders of this political party are not wild-eyed anarchists - they are seekers of a seat for themselves on the old Gravy Train for themselves and their worthless offspring. They are the Clintons, the Pelosis, the Schumers and the Bidens. They spit on the working class. They are the eternal enemies of the Progressives and the working class. They oppose any increase in the federal minimum wage - they want a new feudalism - with them as the new aristocrats and America's working class as the new serfs - locked into low wage slavery. The Clintons are not your enemy - they are your allies. Realize the truth before the lickspittle Democratic Party dissolves into these bull-crap Democrats and true socialists like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and AOC. These are your real enemies - they will make you pay your fair share of taxes.

For that reason, the franchise was limited to property owners, since only these paid significant taxes. There was a time when federal agencies were prohibited from speaking out on proposed laws and measures that would affect their agency's mission or funding. It was expected that federal agencies would "stay out of the (political) fray", and let the legislators "do their jobs" and make the political decisions.
Those days are long gone...agencies make "rules" on their own without oversight from the politicians.
Not only that, the reverse is true, especially with the so-called "Department of Justice" in which the FBI, (America's version of the KGB), CIA, NSA, NRO, ATF, and DEA are all politicized and being used by the demcRAT party as their own personal political force.
The FBI and the other aforementioned agencies should be abolished with the powers returned to the states.

"He’ll no doubt claim that the Church was an impediment to science when, in fact, without the Scholastics creating the language, logic, and concepts necessary for science to arise, it’d have been as still born as it was among every non-Christian society in history."
"The Scholastics" (principally Thomas Aquinas) did not create "the language, logic, and concepts necessary for science." They borrowed them from the ancient Greek non-Christian philosophers, principally Aristotle.

"Aristotle’s logical writings comprise six works, known collectively as the Organon (“Toolâ€). The significance of the name is that logic, for Aristotle, was not one of the theoretical sciences. These were physics, mathematics, and metaphysics. Instead, logic was a tool used by all the sciences. (To say that logic is not a science in this sense is in no way to deny it is a rigorous discipline. The notion of a science was a very special one for Aristotle, most fully developed in his Posterior Analytics.)"
    https://www.britannica.com/topic/history-of-logic/Aristotle

"When Thomas referred to Aristotle as the Philosopher, he was not merely adopting a façon de parler of the time. He adopted Aristotle's analysis of physical objects, his view of place, time and motion, his proof of the prime mover, his cosmology."

Sure, George, science was flourishing among Jews, the Chinese, and on the subcontinent. The Christian West simply borrowed from Aristotle, while those other societies were busy unfolding the mysteries of the created world? Not quite, George, and the evidence proves the opposite. As Aristotle would have pointed out, you argue to the wrong conclusion, given the still birth of science in those societies. Aristotle, for your information, called your sort of error ignoratio elenchi.

The reality is that without the Christian eschatology and only because of the Christian eschatology, there’d still be no science or modern world. You must really hate Christianity, George, to throw out such a worn out canard in this forum. Personally, George, I can’t wait to face you and your sort, not in some limp-wristed parlor games with words, but on the front of battle in Armageddon.

Like the Dems, they are concerned about nonwhites. They never talk about whites, or how whites really live. Or how the antidiscriminatory laws are racist against whites. Or how whites are continually robbed, beaten, and murdered, and it's fine with most out there. They never talk about the trillions allocated to nonwhites, to give free housing, free food, free utilities, free tuitions, and all of the free healthcare they want.

And I see many more GenXers or Millennials with non-white partners than I’ve ever seen with Boomers. At least 50% of the ads on TV, magazines, or the internet show white-black couples with mixed race children having a grand time, brief flashes of gay or lesbian couples cuddling or posing together for selfies (i.e., just long enough for the subliminal message to come through but not long enough to piss off the ordinary viewer), or the usual wise/cool black with the dufus white (we’ve been seeing that for decades). I don’t think it’s Boomers making those ads or who are responsible for them increasing exponentially since the 2020 Summer of Love.

There is a coordinated effort by our government, Big Media, and corporate America to promote miscegenation and the end of the Caucasian race. The Boomers started it, but the GenXers and Millennials have ramped it up by orders of magnitude. I think it will be GenZ that has to work its way out of this mess.

He was instructed by the natives never to go on the Congo River without an African guide, because a giant snake lives in the river that kills white people. He, being somewhat superstitious, follows the native belief, but his successor at the hospital does not, and is drowned on the river. I’ve always wondered what I would do as a Catholic on Mount Everest where climbers regularly offer prayers to local deities to ensure their safety on the mountain. Would I commit a sin and offer a prayer, or trust in my faith in Jesus to overcome all? Luckily, I will never have to face this choice.

Actually, the United States of America was founded on the principle that only land owning Whites could vote. It worked pretty well as a system because landowners are tied to the community and have a real interest in seeing the community prosper. Since you asked, I'll explain to you my personal experience in how I managed to become a land owner. After serving in the Army, I got a job, took advantage of the training available, saved my pennies, nickels and dimes, lived frugally, and bought a house. I'll let you in on a secret, lots of people do it. I know a Jamaican immigrant who arrived on these shores penniless and now owns several houses and makes a decent living off of them. No "great White man" is unable to own land. Part of being considered "great" is working hard and being able to buy property, if you choose. I bet a lot of "antifa" Whites can't figure out how to buy a house.

I have many older "boomer" cousins who came of age when interest rates on a home mortgage were over 10%. A good job paid $150 a week and that after several of them returned from fighting a jungle war in Vietnam. The smart ones prospered from the crazy inflation of the 70s and early 80s and did well. I built a second home, with well, in a remote, wooded area of the country on a very large lake over a decade ago. My siblings own large pieces of property in the area, and the neighbors are staunch conservatives (or else smart enough to keep their mouths shut). Luckily, my primary residence is in a mostly Red state, and I have property in a more remote area of this state that I plan to relocate to in a few years. I avoid all major cities like the plague (or maybe, like the Plandemic). I've diversified my assets as much as I can, do my best to maintain my health, and keep a low profile (except for posting on this website -- probably unwise). I, too, plan to disappear to the extent possible within the next few years. I don't care if I ever travel outside the continental U.S. (and even then, will avoid Blue states and cities). My world may become small, and I may end up with fewer assets than I thought I would, but I can still have a good time for the remainder of my years -- particularly if I disassociate myself from Leftists -- including Left-leaning friends, despite their good intentions, because of the damage they've done. This fall will likely be the last time I cast a vote for national office holder, because if it isn't a Red tsunami after everything we've witnessed for the past year (nay, past 20+ years), I will be forced to conclude that our situation really is hopeless.

You sure do jump to a lot of negative assumptions and inquire in a snide way. Unlike some commentors, I don't write dissertations or try to put every thought or describe every planned action in my responses.

I do in fact network with other whites (sorry, I don't capitalize it -- looks stupid to me and just plays to the "woke" crowd), and one of the main reasons I own property where I do is because I want to strengthen ties with other like-minded whites. I was born in the Red state where my primary residence is located and in which I intend to maintain my primary residence, currently under construction and away from large cities. I could throw a stone and hit ten newcomers who have relocated to this beautiful state within the past year.

I'm not "free-riding" on anyone's "efforts or courage", nor am I "occupying" those "safe spaces". I purchased my properties at fair-market value with the full intention of making those areas stronger, by increasing the number of like-minded people (there's strength in numbers, or haven't you heard). My second home is on property that has been in our family for over 100 years...so you would more correct in accusing my newest neighbors, who purchased homes that had been owned by my grandparents and great aunts and uncles for decades, as being "occupiers" "free-riding" on the "efforts and courage" of others.

I can only hope that I don't have someone like you as a neighbor. You are definitely NOT the kind of white person with whom I hope to strengthen ties or help build a better future.

He’ll no doubt claim that the Church was an impediment to science when, in fact, without the Scholastics creating the language, logic, and concepts necessary for science to arise, it’d have been as still born as it was among every non-Christian society in history.

“The Scholastics” (principally Thomas Aquinas) did not create “the language, logic, and concepts necessary for science.” They borrowed them from the ancient Greek non-Christian philosophers, principally Aristotle.

“Aristotle’s logical writings comprise six works, known collectively as the Organon (“Toolâ€). The significance of the name is that logic, for Aristotle, was not one of the theoretical sciences. These were physics, mathematics, and metaphysics. Instead, logic was a tool used by all the sciences. (To say that logic is not a science in this sense is in no way to deny it is a rigorous discipline. The notion of a science was a very special one for Aristotle, most fully developed in his Posterior Analytics.)”
    https://www.britannica.com/topic/history-of-logic/Aristotle

"sniff the smoke from the sacred fire." - I wonder what the (presumably, Roman Catholic) Spanish speaking, " Pastor (as Mr Taylor called him), felt about that. Personally, as a Catholic Christian, I would avoid sniffing the holy fires of, or rubbing the Idols of, Other cultures. As a Catholic I once felt that I had achieved a more generous appreciation of Buddhism when seeing it practised at a Japanese shrine. Nonetheless, I also felt that I ought to avoid the rubbing of the Buddha's belly for personal, religious (Catholic) reasons: an example of great respect being learned for another culture whilst retaining one's own cultural and religious integrity.

    Replies: @Jared Taylor, @Red Pill Angel, @Hibernian, @RadicalCenter

If your cultural and religious integrity are based in any part on rubbing the “right” idols and sniffing the “right” smoke (incense), that should be embarrassing.

If you think that God cares whether you follow the rituals of your religion rather than someone else’s — or no rituals at all — that reveals something about the pointlessness and irrationality that constitute the bulk of religion.

By the way, it is no longer a wise assumption that Latinos, in the USA or Latin America, are Roman Catholic. Tens of millions are evangelical Christians rather than RC.

That’s true. So get used to it, Mr. T. Nobody’s going back to Africa, Mexico or Vietnam. You are all condemned to find a modus vivendi.

Which shouldn’t be hard. I agree, and there was more.

Virginia is sui generis as far as what purport to be purple states go because of its location and relationship to the federal government in general and national security state in particular.

Virginia has a recent history of electing a governor of the opposite party to the president elected the year before. That hid the relentless assault during the Obama era on the long-standing cozy arrangement between the establishment wings of the two parties. After Trump took the oath, what I refer to as RINO filth essentially switch sides in Virginia, the establishment types went neutral, allowing the Democrats to wreak havoc in Virginia.

Everything else aside, Youngkin represents a modus vivendi between the establishment wing and still ascending MAGA. It’s anything but meaningless that the RINO filth (e.g. The Lincoln Project) have been flushed out and now openly align and coordinate with the freaks on the left.

The Democrats understood that the only way for them to won in Virginia was to divide Youngkin from MAGA support. Trump and Youngkin ensured that didn’t happen and that MAGA wasn’t discouraged to turn out.

Whatever the political and ideological persuasion, there’s always a strong contingent of perverse happy horsesh*t in the form Lenin’s “The worse, the better.” Not the least among those who identify as white nationalists.

Youngkin’s win represents the coalescence of the Republican establishment wing and MAGA in the state in which the former is most powerful. As I alluded above, if they go to the sidelines in Virginia, the Democrats and the RINO filth play rapid destructive catchup with California.

Now Youngkin has become the vessel of hope — much more appealing to the establishment than DeSantis — to keep Trump from returning to where he belongs, sitting in the Oval Office. That’s the kind of wholly sanguine motivation Republican governors have been sorely lacking.

  • @Rich

None of them were "privileged". The attempt to turn younger Whites against White boomers is just another attempt to divide Whites. Don't let yourself fall into that trap.

Parliaments were originally conceived as the place where the representatives of taxpayers would decide on the appropriate level of taxation, it being easier to gain cooperation from taxpayers by involving them in the decision process. For that reason, the franchise was limited to property owners, since only these paid significant taxes. Transposing that logic to today, those who vote should be persons who pay more taxes than they receive in benefits from the state. No one should vote who is thinking more about benefits received than taxes paid.

"When Thomas referred to Aristotle as the Philosopher, he was not merely adopting a façon de parler of the time. He adopted Aristotle's analysis of physical objects, his view of place, time and motion, his proof of the prime mover, his cosmology."

Three hundred investigations of priests in PA and there were two indictments, yet anonymous wants to judge the RCC by the exceptions while, you can bet, he’s fine with psychoanalysis and, say, Democratic politics, where sexual degeneracy is nearly the essence.

His comment also makes him a free rider on Western Civilization. He’d have us believe he’s examined and found wanting the theology, philosophy, ethics, morals, jurisprudence, art, architecture, music, and civilizing force of the Church to which he owes just about everything good and decent in his life.

He’ll no doubt claim that the Church was an impediment to science when, in fact, without the Scholastics creating the language, logic, and concepts necessary for science to arise, it’d have been as still born as it was among every non-Christian society in history.

The irony is that such hatred for the Church typically arises in the same sexual incontinence he’s accusing others of.

The Republican party of today is much like the Democrat party under Bill Clinton in the 1990's. The GOP has largely become a center-left race pandering party with a small contingent of conservatives.

Given their inexorable leftward trajectory the GOP will probably be woke progressives who venerate AOC and Ilhan Omar sometime in the next decade.

The federal government is denying medical care to whites in favor of “people of color.”

The White Republicans act like slobbering Fan Boys, clapping like seals, for any black person who can string together a noun and a verb and does not try to shoot people at public gatherings.

These same Traitor Whites bestow lavish treasure chests of money, prestige and positions on ghetto undeserving blacks. Simultaneously, the white working class is constantly bashed and ridiculed as uneducated, ignorant hayseeds who deserve to die if they are leery of a strange new vaccine that they are being bulled, threatened and possibly jailed for not taking. Blacks get a pass on vaccine hesitancy. They sail through the Covid persecutions without a scratch or negative whisper. Their beatings, footings and murders during their BLM reign of terror are forgotten. Whites are held without bail for misdemeanor trespass.

Anders Behring Breivik……he was recently in court and held a sign about the Genocide of Whites. Everyone shakes their head and calls him a murderous loon. I used to as well………Hmmmm….The gears are turning.

Democrats today are like 90's Republicans, so it makes sense that Republicans today are like 90's Democrats. De-regulation run amok, the triumph of money-fueled elections and politics, and the swift rise of identity politics as a cloak to cover the venality and incompetence of both sides.

Plus, of course, all those insanely profitable wars, kickbacks from globocap all around, and unrestrained influence peddling operations overseas! Yay Empire!

And isn't Virginia CIA headquarters, plus home to more federal employees than any other state? What should we really expect at this point if we have been paying attention?

Things are going downhill fast. Seems like just yesterday when a then-President Obama was still officially against gay marriage.

I really like Tucker Carlson, but the reality is that he’s less a White supremacist (per the left media) and more like an early 90’s conservative Democrat frozen on ice for 30 years and still shocked by the world he woke up to. Conservatives haven’t conserved much.

This was on full display in the 2020 election, when Trump attacked Biden as a racist for supporting sensible policies on crime in the 1990s. He took the only good things Biden did in his career in some lame attempt to smear him, before promising $500 billion for blacks.
  • Neither half of the worthless uniparty supports Whites: one half uses them as a bogeyman, the other, more cowardly half feigns “colorblindness.”

Real change must come from the bravest Whites with everything to lose. There is no other way.

You have to take what you can get. And in this crazy republic with universal suffrage, Youngkin isn't bad. There is just no way to elect a Segregationist anywhere in the country nowadays. But, the basic principles of the republican party, lower taxes, less regulation, less affirmative action and ending anti-White government regulation can work. The law-and-order side also helps and also brings on board the more sensible minorities who have to live among the criminals. This country could be saved if we returned to only White male land owners being allowed to vote, but it ain't going to happen anytime soon. In the meantime, we have to give guys like Youngkin a chance.

Universal suffrage? From what I’ve been hearing it’s impossible to vote in most segregationist strongholds (Voting Rights for Marginalized Communities of Color!). In your crazy republic, what drives me crazy are the white suburban voters who believe that stuff. Once they wake up and 80-90% of whites vote Republican, progress will be inevitable.

    Current demographics of Virginia:

    White: 67.63%
    Black or African American: 19.18%
    Asian: 6.40%
    Two or more races: 3.79%
    Other race: 2.65%
    Native American: 0.28%
Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.07%

(source: https://worldpopulationreview.com/states/virginia-population, note the lack of Hispanics)

80% of 67.63% = 54.1% OK, so ideally, VA could go Republican (as it did, this time) but so what? The whole point of the article was that it makes no (or hardly any) difference what party rules.

If it were up to me, I would limit voting to landowners, regardless of gender or race -- at least, as a starting point (I would probably want to add some requirement that voting also require paying some minimum amount of federal income tax). Many of us women own substantial amounts of real estate and think rationally and more like men. I myself have never voted for a Dem.

How about educated, strong, healthy white males that could take your land from you? What a stupid basis for running a country and voting. Then every white male should be given a couple acres upon birthright. What have you done to achieve your land. With the price of real estate there are a lot of great white men that couldnt vote. You sound like a stupid, selfish, privileged boomer! What have you done to help other white men be able to own land. Give away some of yours?

I dunno. The demographic clock is ticking relentless and White dispossession will continue to accellerate until critical mass has been reached. The few bones thrown in by the likes of Younkin and DeSantis or Trump serve only to postpone the inevitable. There's an argument for claiming, a la Lenin, that worse is better, in that Whites might be brought to their senses before they become a powerless minority if the anti-White Democrats grow their power.

To some extent, yes. We didn't get into this state of affairs overnight. It creeped up one step at a time for a long time, and only recently has the pace quickened. Quite unrealistic to expect things to be set aright overnight. Youngkin is just one baby step in a long journey back to sanity. Expect setbacks, diversions and a long road ahead.
