The Syrian war was the first fully observed conflict on social-media and the ability to connect directly with Syrians real time as they were experiencing the crisis was unprecedented. This created a unique opportunity to get unfiltered information directly from all sides of the conflict to gain insights and understanding. The results have helped shake...
  • Man differs from woman; equality is unnatural and insane.
Women in politics is as sick as poofters in power (e.g. Obimbo, Mackerel…)
“Equality” was and is the Jew’s weapon to enslave and destroy mankind.
    With “égalité” he enslaved France.
With the same for man as for woman and vice versa he creates confusions (conned fusions) like these:

How many times can you use the word Jew in a sentence, paragraph or essay. Dude you win? I am not a fan of Janice Kortkamp or her politics, but you are so offensive on so many levels. Hey Kurtie Knishe you sound like an Arab with a small winnie who badly wants to fuck a Jew women, then beat her up.

You get the idea what a sick dude you are?

    Replies: @Pat Kittle, @Kurt Knispel

    “Fucking a Jew women”
What is “a Jew women”? Or did you mean a few women?
Do you mean a Jewish woman?
Well, if you can show me a Jewish woman I will tell you…

Jewish and woman are contradictions per se.

Kudos to you for mentioning the anti-war left. In an era when even recent history is retconned at a jaw-dropping rate, that memory-holing project takes the cake.

Give the devils their due, what Bush did to the patriotic American right, Obama did to the anti-war left.

This was no more evident than with the Syria malefactions. To this very day, even the well-intentioned give the benefit of the doubt to Obama because to do otherwise just makes them feel bad about themselves for how thoroughly they were played.

Don't you characters realize how palpably plaintive it is that upon mention of what Obama wrought, even if not by name, starts a short countdown to distraction in the form of shouting about Trump.

Don't believe the cruel lie that America is a "50-50 divided country." Even the Fake Polls are close to reflecting the Pareto Principle (80/20) sanity on every issue, including Ukraine.

Say what you will about Trump, but he was and continues to be the great clarifier. He singlehandedly discredited Bush and the Republican wing of the War Party. And who defended Bush/Cheney/McCain et. al., Obama and the entirety of the left. First stealth-fully, and then once Trump caught fire in the 2016 campaign, loudly and proudly.

Maybe it's unfair because they got royally screwed first, but the patriotic right is has its head on straight. The RINO and Neocon filth haven't even attempted to rally MAGA, spending their time foot-stomping about Tucker. But it's well past the time for what used to be called the anti-war left to get it together.

That begins by letting go of your illusions about Obama. A president at least equally destructive to the American Project, and our position and reputation in the world, as Bush. It's under Obama that the USG partnered with Al Qaeda and all other manner of jihadi garbage in Syria. As if that conscious humiliation of the American nation wasn't enough from someone wholly dedicated to delivering it until demoralization broke us, he giddily green-lighted full support for neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

After four weeks, even the most die-hard believers in Ukraine must be acknowledging that NATO isn't coming to rescue them.

The Azov Battalion in Mariupol were hanging on, desperate to believe their American, British, and Canadian 'friends' would institute a no-fly zone and break the siege. They felt crushing disappointment, before being literally crushed by Russian-Chechen-Separatist forces. The same fate will befall the armies trapped in the Don basin.

“It takes 17 muscles to smile, 43 to frown, but only 1 to pull a trigger”.
    old saying within the military.

If you have a religion (like Christianity) which offers free forgiveness of sins then you will have sins in abundance. Many fundies believe that the only way into heaven is by belief in Christ.

Interesting idea, but a bit deceptive.

If you believe in Christ, then you believe what the Old Testament has to say about the bad things that happen to evildoers after death. You would believe that doing wicked things is not consistent with belief in Christ, and you would not do them.

Ah, you might say, but killing people is inherently wicked. Well, no. Under some circumstances, and even in civil life (protecting another person from a felon committing a felony that threatens life) it is not wicked at all, either under law or judging from the life of Christ (referring to Christ’s use of force and a whip in protecting people from money changers in the Temple).

Generally speaking, the actions of a soldier in line of duty are not considered wicked. If they were, than every soldier on both sides of a war (or the Russian/Ukraine affair) would be treated after death as the Old Testament says the wicked should be treated. Among other things, it would have been impossible to resist the Islamic invasion of Eastern Europe had such beliefs prevailed.

Further, there is free will and repentance. Presumably, God can properly judge sincere repentance, and if the formerly wicked person actually repents, and is no longer wicked, what is the point of treating that person as the wicked are treated? Certainly not as an example to others, as none observe what God does after a human’s death.

And as for those planning to act wickedly and then repent just before death? Well, that’s a bit hard to do. The Christian Middle Ages had a doctrine that was at least a good metaphor: As soon as a person plans to act wickedly and then repent just before death, that person immediately falls through the floor into Hell and is replaced by a demon with identical appearance and mannerisms. Metaphorically, that’s just about what happens; the same person may persist in some sense, but now acts like a demon, like a thoroughly wicked being that is a minion of Satan.

Christians are well advised to not be wicked, and that is generally how Christianity has historically worked out, at least within Christian societies. The leading counterexample the Left likes to put forth is “imperialism”, something that left the Third World a lot better off (from the stand point of population numbers) than it had been before the European empires’ imposition.

Neat! That means the West is not responsible for any of its actions since the Roman Empire became officially Christian!!!! No more guilt of over Black slaves, Indigenous Americans c.a. 1500, the Buffalo extinction, bombing Iraq and Afghanistan, not saving enough Jews during WW II, combat use of nuclear weapons, luring Asians into the US so they could be assaulted by Blacks, even "environmental sins" and opressing the TRANS lobby none of that. We're free! We've been mind controlled by Jews!!!! Hurray, once again our sins have been lifted from us.

From now on, every time the left brings up one of these things, I'll simply refer them to the over-race, those who exercise absolute control, those responsible: the Jews!!!!

Mass emasculation is not paradise. It is social rot. The West is saturated with this war on men. It is one reason why so many males have morphed into trannies and homosexuals.

The author of the article is a female, and evidently hates men.

As for Bashar al-Assad, the West had high hopes for him when he became president in 2000. Assad seemed willing to impose neoliberal “reforms†on Syria that would have reduced the country to another Lebanon. However Assad would not grovel to Israel, like governments of Egypt and Jordan do, nor break off relations with Russia. These and other details angered the Judeo-Empire.

By 2011 with the U.S.-backed “Arab Spring,†NATO destroyed Libya and began a proxy war on Syria, which failed to remove Assad.

American vileness is through the roof. It's the richest people on earth where the majority are obese.
It has so much of everything, but it occupies 1/3 of Syria and steals oil from a desperate country where so many don't have homes(due to war) and barely subsist on basic food and water provided by charity from nations like Russia and Iran while it's being sanctioned to death by the US at the behest of Jews, the richest on Earth and who receive billions in 'aid' every year in Israel despite all its crimes against humanity against Palestinians.

It's like a billionaire stealing the what little is left of a homeless person. Totally evil.
Worse, the reason why Syria is in the state it is because US and its 'allies' decided to fund and support ISIS lunatics to wage war in the most savage manner.

As if that wasn't bad enough, US lied about Assad's gas attacks, and the entire 'rules-based' Western order took part in the lie.

That the US does stuff like this but constantly preaches to the world about decency is obnoxious beyond belief.

And so many white Americans are dumb and pathetic beyond belief. The Jewish overlords and their cuck whummies push CRT, globo-homo, pedo-gogy, BLM, and on them, but they put up BLM signs, wave 'gay' flags, chant 'muh Israel', and root for Ukraine that was robbed of what little sovereignty it had left when its subnazi morons chose to do the bidding of Jewish supremacists.

The following is Abdel Bari Atwan’s analysis, a Palestinian Journalist lives in Britain, of the War in Eukraine and US fate due to this war.

I think the war in Ukraine is the beginning of the US fall. The United States has made the Ukrainians miserable. The US manipulated Zelensky and promised him to support Ukraine’s entry into the NATO that brings Ukraine prosperity and security. WHERE IS AMERICA NOW?
They spread the propaganda that WWIII is coming. Economic Sanctions and condemnation, Condemnation and Condemnation, this is all they have done for POOR Ukraine to condemn the war. On what basis do you condemn the war?
They say it is against the international law. I don’t know which laws they are talking about?

When you were destroying Libya, were you honoring the International laws? When did you respect the international laws?
When you supported a war against Palestinian people, were you following the international laws?

You started a war in Syria for 10 years where destroyed the country. Did you want to show you are supporter of International laws?

The Ukraine war created a new situation in Europe. France and Germany learned that this is an American trap, thus they will not cooperate with US. I believe that the war not only set the process of US downfall, but also will destroy the US and Europe’s relations.

Europe will not only take US seriously but also will not trust her as an reliable partner and all the agreements and promises between the two will be cancelled.

Where is NATO? Why NATO did nothing and did not send troops to protect Kiev?
The only thing they did was to bring sanctions against Russia. Who is going to loose from these sanctions? What is the benefit of sanctions?
For the past 40 years, the West is using sanctions against Iran. what is the result of these sanctions on Iran? Now, a powerful Iran is sitting in Vienna, and pushing its conditions on the West to protect its own interest and has not given up one centimetre.
These negotiations, either will stop, where would be beneficial to Iran since Iran can increase its uranium enrichment to more than 90%, or US will accept most of Iran’s demands due to US weaken position as the result of the war in Ukraine. Meaning US will loose in either case, and Iran will be the winner if they reach an agreement or not.

Everything you think you know about Syria is wrong.

The Syrian government instituted a strong "pro-natal" policy, outlawing the sale and possession of contraceptives and propagandizing the it was every woman's patriotic duty to have seven children each - and, as in the west, censoring any count of all those times that such policies have lead to misery for the average person (such as in Mexico, or Brazil, or China under Mao, Afghanistan, etc.).

They got the Syrian population to quadruple in just 36 years - and the aquifers were drained dry, the water ran out, and things fell apart.

Syria is a small arid country, and more people do not automatically cause nuclear-powered desalination plants to rise up out of the desert.

But we can't talk about this, because acknowledging how government policies aimed at maximizing population growth are bad for the average person, might reduce enthusiasm for policies such as Biden's open-border push to import tens of millions of third world refugees into the United States, give them automatic legal asylum status, and bus them to jobs all over the country.

    Replies: @Blissex

«The Syrian government instituted a strong “pro-natal†policy […] They got the Syrian population to quadruple in just 36 years – and the aquifers were drained dry, the water ran out, and things fell apart.»

That is quite an optimistic view, and there is much bigger story about that, because the same has been happening in almost all “rich” arab countries, in particular Saudi Arabia (but also Yemen. and a lot of the war in Yemen is about water, which has been for many centuries since the great dyke of Yemen stopped being maintained), and that was for political reasons:

    * Most “arab” countries have been for thousands of years hard places with most local people very poor, malnourished and scrawny.

    * In many “arab” countries a big status symbol was to have a fat wife, and an even bigger status symbol was to be so rich to have many children, as so many died at birth or before becoming adults because of hunger etc.

    * Several vicious regimes in “arab” countries decided to pacify their restless populations (see Saudi “Inkwatha” in particular) by giving them all huge status symbols: fat wife and especially many children. In much the same way as “Washington Consensus” regimes decided to pump up property prices.

    * Those regimes first priority was to pacify their *current* populations, with whichever short term policy they could find, never mind about the future. The future though is happening.

    * The result is that currently many arab countries as you point point have population levels of many times their carrying capacity (often 8-10 times more), and at the same time the long term trends of desertification of their countries has continued. My favourite example is the city of Jeddah, which went from a charming (and dirt-poor) little town to a megalopolis, as it it easy to find photos of “historic Jeddah” on the web.

    * The result is that for many “arab” countries 80-90% of their water comes from desalination plants powered by oil, and internal use of their oil is becoming an ever larger proportion of their oil production, with the result that the oil export revenue needed to pay for imported food is shrinking, while food supply required is rising.

As to the latter point when in a few decades oil production substantially falls the “arab” countries will not just return to being merely poor as in Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum (of Dubai, died in 1990) said:

“My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I drive a Mercedes, my son drives a Land Rover, his son will drive a Land Rover, but his son will ride a camelâ€

but dozen of millions of them will either die of thirst (as the desalination plant will stop for lack of oil) and hunger (as oil exports no longer be there to pay for food imports), or will have to immigrate somewhere else. It could be easily that 80-100m people will have to move out of north Africa, the Middle East or Arabia (or die) in the 2050-2090 period.

National Review's headline was, "The Phone Lines Melt" as did email inboxes. The subsequent strikes by Trump weren't broadcasted prior - no time for similar groundswells. I was in Homs during the Shyrat strike and in Damascus during the US, UK, France strikes. The typical response of Syrians in both places was, "F*** Trump" or variations thereof.

A holocaust of Sunni Syrians took place and “what’s Aleppo” was the US’s response basically. That’s why all of the US media and politicians PRAISED Putin for intervening in Syria and getting Obama out of his red line gaffe. Assad’s still in power cause he still kills Muslims by the thousands! “What’s Alleppo” has been answered by God; it’s Ukraine, and suddenly Putin is a problem for Amerikans.

All countries are into propaganda. The Western World, China, India, Turkey etc...even Russia. CNN, BBC, Deutsche World DW (Germany), CGTN (China) , TRT World (Turkey), Al Jazeera, WION (India), obviously I24 (Israel), ABC (Australia), Telesur (Venezuela) and even for that matter RT (Russia). But the West is King of propaganda. And the fact that the West creates an image of freedom of speech and multiple news channel with "credibility" fools a lot of people in the West and the World. And that makes the Western media more dangerous, people never doubt it as propaganda. But behind the scenes all these Western channels are connected to their Government Deep States like some Communist country and give the illusion of choice in between networks. Only channels like Fox News of USA or Sky News of Australia who are right winged, are kept as fake opposition of the Globo Marxist Deep States to set a limit on the thoughts of dissenters of the Deep State, but you are more likely to understand the truth from them as compared to the others. It was only recently during the Trump election campaign that a large number of people in the USA got a glimpse of how fake the mainstream media is in the USA. This is one of Trump's best legacy.

Fewer Americans Than Ever Before Trust The Mainstream Media

But guess what, channels like Al Jazeera and TRT World are even worse, and I will tell you guys why. Western channels are brainwashing globo homo Marxist propaganda channels but atleast they have consistency. Globo Homo Globalist left winged at home and similarly left winged globalist internationally. DW of Germany for example will run Marxist propaganda pieces about the evils of European Colonialism. Al Jazeera and TRT world are different. Al Jazeera English when covering West have the same anti-traditional West, leftist, Marxist propaganda pieces (supporting BLM) but Al Jazeera Arabic is totally conservative and Right Winged. The Salafists look at the traditional West as its enemy. BTW many Arab countries have banned Al Jazeera of Qatar and Saudi Arabia has come up with the rival Al-Arabia channel to counter Al-Jazeera. Similarly Erdogan's Turkish TRT World is anti-West and takes anti-Traditional West, leftist Marxist stand in international reporting (Evils of British Empire but never speak about anything bad about the Ottoman Empire) but is Right Winged nationalist when reporting nationally. A big game is being played on the West by these slimey people.
The funny thing happens when two thuggish nationalist Third World nations clash with each other in propaganda. Like India and Turkey. Both WION of India and TRT of Turkey will bash each other's countries. Both sides a nationalist, tribalist and will not give an inch. Both are not nice Westerners. LOL. Both Erdogan and Modi and their supporting political apparatus (BJP of India and AK Parti of Turkey) are that of Thag Sultans supported by Thagard conservative tribal population bases in their countries.

    All countries are into propaganda.

I have no issue with propaganda as such–with just one caveat.

    I want a warning label.

“This is who we are. This is what we do. These are the powerful people who own us and this is the message they want us to convey.”

Without the warning label the product is useless at best and dangerous at worst.

I agree. While in Deir Ezzor (Oct 2017) many locals described US forces airlifting ISIS commanders out of battles to safety. The captured ISIS arsenal I observed consisted of many US weapons including a massive Howitzer. The bulk appeared to have come from former Soviet bloc countries now friendly to the US. The most obvious evidence to the collusion was the massacre of Syrian Army soldiers at their long established and well marked position on al Thardeh hill which ISIS took over immediately without a spit in their direction by the US led coalition. I've heard similar stories from Yazidi militiamen in Iraq.

The Americans with the help of the Turks supported ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups in Syria to destroy the country. The Syrians and their government didn’t deserve to be treated in a criminal way by the West and America in particular because the Syrians were always a safe haven for refugees fleeing violence in Iraq ( Muslims,Christians ….without discrimination) and Lebanon. For the Palestinians Syria was as their country.

The United States is the most dangerous country in the world. Not because of its power, but because of its lack of scruple. Americans bleat on about being the good guys, but American power is about robbing the rest of the globe, forcing obedience, and killing those who offer another perspective. Israel is America's master, and America serves it through endless war, endless killing, and endless looting. I think another global order is needed, and I hope China and Russia can set aside their differences and work out a common union that protects both from harm. They both have the same enemy. And their enemy is the world's enemy. Given what we saw on January 6, and what we have seen in the American illegal system for years, you cannot tell me that the United States is somehow morally superior to China. China has done bad things to Uighurs; the jewnited states is engaged in a murderous pogrom against the white working class, and has killed perhaps millions of its own through the clot shots. Only fear of upsetting Washington is keeping the pro-American global alliance together. But once that fear is gone, and once people stop being terrified of globshlomo, the sun is going to set very fast on the American empire.

The French are less stupid than others it seems,… Also anti NATO protests took place in Marseille last week.

Presidential elections will take place on 10th of April. Of course, rothschild puppet macron will try to rig the vote like biden did in the USA, but he has serious troubles including an alleged murder ordered by him and his “wife” (a transsexual) against an investigator who was about to spill the beans on the fact that “Brigitte” Macron is in fact a dude, called Jean-Michel Trogneux.

Check this on Twitter and you’ll get the picture: #IsabelleFerreira (murdered) –
    #BrigitteGate – #JeanMichelTrogneux

It’s not the only scandal. Check that: #McKinseyGate (tax evasion, fraud, bribes, macron is heavily involved)

And that: #RothschildGate (much more serious for him as it involves fiscal evasion, millions ofn offshore accounts, bribes, and fraud)

    And that: #AlstomGate (again fraud)

There is no way that the most hated president of all times, that the French want to sack since 5 years can be re-elected without cheating the vote…

It’s impossible to overstate how much damage this has done to the Democrat brand. For over 20 years my view has been that we were heading toward one of the two major parties going bye-bye like the Whigs did in a single election cycle in the context of the Civil War. In 2008, any betting man would have said it would be the Republicans. Especially since Democrats were the party of government and thus had an essentially locked in base.

Yet after eight years of Obama, and four of Trump, it’s the Democrats that are on life support. I know it makes a lot of people feel bad about themselves but more so than anyone else that’s Obama’s doing.

    Truly an evil wicked man.

Left to God, the wicked make out rather badly:

“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.â€
    Philippians 3:19

Which pretty much does it for the wicked. Note, however, that knowing the ultimate fate of the wicked does not help us cope with them while they are here.

I’d classify Obama as just another Kenyan politician (yes, all are wicked). He was simply trying to destroy all his enemies so that he could become the Big Man in the US, a predictable move for any African politician.

Naipaul’s A Bend in the River, 1979, describes the process fairly well. African politicians think in terms of personal leadership and elimination of all opposition, rather like the old Bantu tribal Chiefs or the head of the Zulu coalition. Remember, Obama’s mother was an anthropologist who eulogized non-Western civilizations / societies, his father was a marginally successful Kenyan politician, and Obama received a non-Western education. He would tend to think in non-Western terms, especially those of his father.

This follows from Huntington’s Clash of Civilizations theory, coupled with the idea that culture molds genetics and genetics constrains culture.

If any more sub-Saharan African/Islamic raised people are elected to the US Presidency, you can expect the same general result (unless you elect a San or Pygmy, who have their own problems). Basic assumptions of a culture are hard to shake.

By the same token, one could expect results similar to past results if an American Black were elected. Black history is notable for its bad leadership **. Even Martin Luther King (MLK), famous though he is, led his followers into the contemporary Inner City, which is very like unto Hell. The type of bad leadership would be different from leadership in the Bantu tradition, but the leadership would reliably be bad.
Even a severely altruistic Black, such as MLK claimed to be and Judge Clarence Thomas probably is, would simply be betrayed by his staff and local leaders, who would not believe in even mild altruism and would strongly believe in carpe diem.

Tough luck for the “all men are created identical” hypothesis, but that particular game is over anyway, destroyed by BLM and CRT and, of course, Postmodernism.

Everything you think you know about Syria is wrong.

The Syrian government instituted a strong “pro-natal” policy, outlawing the sale and possession of contraceptives and propagandizing the it was every woman’s patriotic duty to have seven children each – and, as in the west, censoring any count of all those times that such policies have lead to misery for the average person (such as in Mexico, or Brazil, or China under Mao, Afghanistan, etc.).

They got the Syrian population to quadruple in just 36 years – and the aquifers were drained dry, the water ran out, and things fell apart.

Syria is a small arid country, and more people do not automatically cause nuclear-powered desalination plants to rise up out of the desert.

But we can’t talk about this, because acknowledging how government policies aimed at maximizing population growth are bad for the average person, might reduce enthusiasm for policies such as Biden’s open-border push to import tens of millions of third world refugees into the United States, give them automatic legal asylum status, and bus them to jobs all over the country.

«The Syrian government instituted a strong “pro-natal†policy [...] They got the Syrian population to quadruple in just 36 years – and the aquifers were drained dry, the water ran out, and things fell apart.»

That is quite an optimistic view, and there is much bigger story about that, because the same has been happening in almost all "rich" arab countries, in particular Saudi Arabia (but also Yemen. and a lot of the war in Yemen is about water, which has been for many centuries since the great dyke of Yemen stopped being maintained), and that was for political reasons:

    * Most "arab" countries have been for thousands of years hard places with most local people very poor, malnourished and scrawny.

    * In many "arab" countries a big status symbol was to have a fat wife, and an even bigger status symbol was to be so rich to have many children, as so many died at birth or before becoming adults because of hunger etc.

    * Several vicious regimes in "arab" countries decided to pacify their restless populations (see Saudi "Inkwatha" in particular) by giving them all huge status symbols: fat wife and especially many children. In much the same way as "Washington Consensus" regimes decided to pump up property prices.

My favourite example is the city of Jeddah, which went from a charming (and dirt-poor) little town to a megalopolis, as it it easy to find photos of "historic Jeddah" on the web.

    * The result is that for many "arab" countries 80-90% of their water comes from desalination plants powered by oil, and internal use of their oil is becoming an ever larger proportion of their oil production, with the result that the oil export revenue needed to pay for imported food is shrinking, while food supply required is rising.

As to the latter point when in a few decades oil production substantially falls the "arab" countries will not just return to being merely poor as in Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum (of Dubai, died in 1990) said:

“My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I drive a Mercedes, my son drives a Land Rover, his son will drive a Land Rover, but his son will ride a camelâ€

but dozen of millions of them will either die of thirst (as the desalination plant will stop for lack of oil) and hunger (as oil exports no longer be there to pay for food imports), or will have to immigrate somewhere else. It could be easily that 80-100m people will have to move out of north Africa, the Middle East or Arabia (or die) in the 2050-2090 period.

It is zionist propaganda that targeted Assad as a brutal dictator, when the opposite was the truth, the zionists invert everything, this is one of their tactics, they do this with everyone who is in their target.

The destruction of Syria and Iraq and Libya was brought about by the Israeli and traitors in the ZUS governments attack on the WTC on 911 and blamed on the muslims to give the excuse to destroy the middle east for Israels greater Israel agenda.

America’s founding fathers rightly feared democracy and they built that fear into the original American Constitution, but the structure of the original Constitution has been destroyed over time (e.g. by the 14th, 17th and 19th Amendments), unlimited immigration, Supreme Courts that view the US Constitution as merely guidance rather than actual law, etc., moving us inexorably toward direct democracy.

Direct democracy was disastrous in the 5th century BC (e.g. Socrates), the founding fathers rightly feared it, but today we have social media. Combine direct democracy with the demonic power of social media and we have a disaster. The mob rules and the mob is so easily manipulated by the Ruling Class using social media wielded by alien reptiles like Mark Zuckerberg.

Democracy has proven disastrous in the West. Now with social media, the mob can be easily whipped into a blood frenzy about whatever the Ruling Class wants, be it Assad in Syria, Hussein in Iraq, Kaddafi in Libya, and now Putin in Ukraine.

Sorry to be negative about this, but I don’t see a solution. The West is in terminal decline.

    Replies: @Anonymous

Direct democracy was disastrous in the 5th century BC (e.g. Socrates), the founding fathers rightly feared it, but today we have social media.

Not really a lot of difference between today’s social media and the mass meetings of Democratic Athens.

For those interested in “how things turned out last time”, here is a very simplified version, only the high points.

Athenian citizens consistently voted for high risk/high reward courses of action that required both near perfect execution and considerable luck. Their early strategy, raid Spartan coalition areas from the sea while hiding behind Athenian fortifications, worked like a charm until crowding in Athens unleased a plague. The plague killed the only son of Pericles, the leader whose plan that was.

Next step was the Syracuse expedition. Military leaders said it was a bad idea, but the agora assembly doubled expedition size and sent it out anyway. They gave the fleet a divided command, one “wait until we know more” leader and one “Audacity, audacity, and more audacity” leader (Alcibiades, you can think of him as “Big Al”, he was larger than life). Then, with the fleet half way to the target area, Athens tried to arrest Big Al, who fled to Sparta. Mr. “wait until we know more” quite predictably went to the target (Syracuse) and gave the Syracusans time to get their force organized. Athens lost both the original fleet and the relief fleet. From there on in, Athens just played out the clock, but had no chance of winning.

The end result of rule by democracy was that well over half of the original citizen body was killed, that slaves were freed to man the fleets while the clock ran out, and that (predictably) the slaves saw rowing as an income source and, after Spartan rule fell apart, insisted on a summer cruise each year, whether it did anything or not, and that constantly stirred up the Eastern Mediterranean area. (Note the similarity to American policy from about AD 1990 on – foreign policy for ego and profit.) Eventually, the Athenian fleet was put up against part of Alexander’s army (this after Alexander had died), loaded aboard an immense hired fleet. Deciding that they hadn’t signed on to be massacred, the fleet rowers surrendered.
The Alexandrian successor then took the entire area of Athens where the rowers lived, moved them up to a sparsely populated part of Thrace, and left them there. He also destroyed Athens’ naval yards. Just like Stalin, maybe, but OTH after that Athens became a university town and bothered nobody anymore save the occasional graduate student.

So: Get to be a PITA by hitting above your weight, run out of luck or overdo the arrogance, and eventually the world moves on without you and you get neutered by the new system. The US is about in the “overdo the arrogance” part, but, then, so is the rest of the world. Remember, Sparta sort of won the Peloponnesian War, but within two generations it was extinct. Turned out that Spartans weren’t good administrators. Same with us — every major contender for even regional hegemon is now in serious economic trouble.
Next step is that we all run out of the lucky streak that has kept us all afloat for so long.

As for Big Al, after his defection to Sparta he (a) became an adviser to the Spartan Kings, then (b) seduced one of the Kings’ wife, and (c) defected to Persia, where he later died or was killed (several versions of his death exist).
Larger than life, so smart and yet so stupid. He’s the reason that Aristotle refused to teach philosophy to anybody under 30 (take that, counterculture) because under 30 they might use philosophy to drop all restraint (rather like today’s use of Postmodernism). Big Al might not have learned anything from experience, but at least Aristotle did.

All countries are into propaganda. The Western World, China, India, Turkey etc…even Russia. And the fact that the West creates an image of freedom of speech and multiple news channel with “credibility” fools a lot of people in the West and the World. This is one of Trump’s best legacy.

Similarly Erdogan’s Turkish TRT World is anti-West and takes anti-Traditional West, leftist Marxist stand in international reporting (Evils of British Empire but never speak about anything bad about the Ottoman Empire) but is Right Winged nationalist when reporting nationally. A big game is being played on the West by these slimey people.
The funny thing happens when two thuggish nationalist Third World nations clash with each other in propaganda. Like India and Turkey. Both WION of India and TRT of Turkey will bash each other’s countries.

Yet after eight years of Obama, and four of Trump, it's the Democrats that are on life support. I know it makes a lot of people feel bad about themselves but more so than anyone else that's Obama's doing.

Yes, I did not say that it is, the US think. However, those traitors at the senate and congress that fight against those who support BDS, a Palestinian solidarity campaign aimed at putting international economic and political pressure on Israel, now are screaming that everyone should sanction Russia. widespread anti-BDS sentiment among politicians has advocates iced out of public debate.
An overwhelming majority of Congress voted in favor of a 2019 House resolution condemning BDS; only Reps. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) remain among a handful of supporters of BDS in federal office.

The Israel servant, Sen. Marco Rubio, insists that BDS is rooted not in peace, but in destroying Israel.
he believes: “The anti-Semitic BDS movement’s goal is to eliminate any Jewish state between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea,†a Rubio spokesperson said. “To compare that, in any way, to the actions taken by the international community against Putin is either naïve or willfully misleading.â€
About 35 states have laws, resolutions and executive orders restricting or banning any boycott against Israel. On March 3, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) introduced the “Israel Anti-Boycott Act†a day after tweeting that Americans should cut all oil imports from Russia.

So this hypocrites have totally different policy when it comes to Russia and those countries who refused to drop their pans for Israel’s expansionist policy contrary to these opportunists.

The push to punish Putin has also been championed by Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Rubio and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who have called for a boycott of Russian energy and oil.

So, now it is a good time for Americans to know who is their REAL enemies.

I'd classify Obama as just another Kenyan politician (yes, all are wicked). He was simply trying to destroy all his enemies so that he could become the Big Man in the US, a predictable move for any African politician.

Naipaul's A Bend in the River, 1979, describes the process fairly well. African politicians think in terms of personal leadership and elimination of all opposition, rather like the old Bantu tribal Chiefs or the head of the Zulu coalition. Remember, Obama's mother was an anthropologist who eulogized non-Western civilizations / societies, his father was a marginally successful Kenyan politician, and Obama received a non-Western education. He would tend to think in non-Western terms, especially those of his father.

This follows from Huntington's Clash of Civilizations theory, coupled with the idea that culture molds genetics and genetics constrains culture.

Tough luck for the "all men are created identical" hypothesis, but that particular game is over anyway, destroyed by BLM and CRT and, of course, Postmodernism.

So this hypocrites have totally different policy when it comes to Russia and those countries who refused to drop their pans for Israel's expansionist policy contrary to these opportunists.

The push to punish Putin has also been championed by Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Rubio and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who have called for a boycott of Russian energy and oil.

So, now it is a good time for Americans to know who is their REAL enemies.

Yes, the personal contacts to representatives in both the UK and US were quite effective imo in discouraging Obama about the announced missile strike.

Don’t you characters realize how palpably plaintive it is that upon mention of what Obama wrought, even if not by name, starts a short countdown to distraction in the form of shouting about Trump.

Don’t believe the cruel lie that America is a “50-50 divided country.” Even the Fake Polls are close to reflecting the Pareto Principle (80/20) sanity on every issue, including Ukraine.

Maybe it’s unfair because they got royally screwed first, but the patriotic right is has its head on straight. The RINO and Neocon filth haven’t even attempted to rally MAGA, spending their time foot-stomping about Tucker. But it’s well past the time for what used to be called the anti-war left to get it together.

That begins by letting go of your illusions about Obama. A president at least equally destructive to the American Project, and our position and reputation in the world, as Bush. It’s under Obama that the USG partnered with Al Qaeda and all other manner of jihadi garbage in Syria. As if that conscious humiliation of the American nation wasn’t enough from someone wholly dedicated to delivering it until demoralization broke us, he giddily green-lighted full support for neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

Then al Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate kidnapped the rebels’ leader and attacked them. A number of those rebels remain in al Qaeda’s hands. (In further bad news for the Obama administration, rebel sources told McClatchy last month that the assault was planned in concert with Turkey, an ally of the U.S. that would like to see the U.S. help battle Assad as well as the Islamic State.)”

  • America’s founding fathers rightly feared democracy and they built that fear into the original American Constitution, but the structure of the original Constitution has been destroyed over time (e.g. by the 14th, 17th and 19th Amendments), unlimited immigration, Supreme Courts that view the US Constitution as merely guidance rather than actual law, etc., moving us inexorably toward direct democracy.

Not really a lot of difference between today's social media and the mass meetings of Democratic Athens.

For those interested in "how things turned out last time", here is a very simplified version, only the high points.

They gave the fleet a divided command, one "wait until we know more" leader and one "Audacity, audacity, and more audacity" leader (Alcibiades, you can think of him as "Big Al", he was larger than life). Then, with the fleet half way to the target area, Athens tried to arrest Big Al, who fled to Sparta. Mr. "wait until we know more" quite predictably went to the target (Syracuse) and gave the Syracusans time to get their force organized.

(Note the similarity to American policy from about AD 1990 on - foreign policy for ego and profit.) Eventually, the Athenian fleet was put up against part of Alexander's army (this after Alexander had died), loaded aboard an immense hired fleet. Deciding that they hadn't signed on to be massacred, the fleet rowers surrendered.
The Alexandrian successor then took the entire area of Athens where the rowers lived, moved them up to a sparsely populated part of Thrace, and left them there. He also destroyed Athens' naval yards.

The US is about in the "overdo the arrogance" part, but, then, so is the rest of the world. Remember, Sparta sort of won the Peloponnesian War, but within two generations it was extinct. Turned out that Spartans weren't good administrators. Same with us -- every major contender for even regional hegemon is now in serious economic trouble.
Next step is that we all run out of the lucky streak that has kept us all afloat for so long.

As for Big Al, after his defection to Sparta he (a) became an adviser to the Spartan Kings, then (b) seduced one of the Kings' wife, and (c) defected to Persia, where he later died or was killed (several versions of his death exist).
Larger than life, so smart and yet so stupid. He's the reason that Aristotle refused to teach philosophy to anybody under 30 (take that, counterculture) because under 30 they might use philosophy to drop all restraint (rather like today's use of Postmodernism). Big Al might not have learned anything from experience, but at least Aristotle did.

Of course it wasn’t; that was always obvious — remember the armed forces of Syria (army, air force) fought against Israel — think about the organization, about what it would take logistically and financially, to militarily oppose the Syrian armed forces: weapons, munitions, transportation, fuel, food, medical care for the wounded, etc.

I have felt for years that with its reporting, or rather lack of it, about what was really happening in Syria, western media reached a new nadir of institutional corruption and irresponsibility.

That Muslim Arabs could not possibly of their own accord rise up to peacefully protest their government which is a brutal regime, is a racist narrative. There are torture prison in Syria and that is documented. That those people would never ever of their own accord want to upset the order of things in the ME where dictators rule supreme, is a racist narrative. Those people should remain subjugated by brutal dictators, and not rock the worlds boat, is the racist western mentality. The fact is Assad is a mass murderer who will label anyone opposed to him as terrorists. That Alqaeda and ISIS are aligned with peaceful non fundamentalist Muslims, and some Christians in wanting Assad to be toppled does not mean that Assad is therefore to be supported. The real lie is what you say in this piece, that the west /US wants Assad to go! How come he's still there if the US/west wants him to go? Truth is they don't, they think as you all do; that if you oppose him you must be a fundamental Muslim fanatic, which is a big lie! That Syrians should live under brutal regimes in the 21st century because if they are toppled only worse fundie fanatics will replace this brutal dictatorships is not an argument to support a brutal regime. And it's false for most Syrians are NOT fundie fanatics but quite educated and secularized having been colonized by the French. It's exactly what the left and the right in the US believe however and its a policy that says Arabs /Muslim have no inherent rights and should be subjugated forever and seen but not heard as they have been in the past.

  • An article about the several false flag gas attacks in Syria would be welcome. The accusation that Bashar al-Assad would “gas his own people” is beyond rediculous. A meticulous exposure of these frauds would be enlightening.

We should keep in mind that ultimately it is not the US, the UK or Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar that are behind the attempt to destroy Syria, but ISRAEL, which manipulates the policy of all of the above countries. Israel even receives wounded ISIS fighters, gives them medical treatment, and then sends them back to Syria to continue their terrorist activities. Here is a picture of Netanyahu shaking hands with one of those wounded ISIS fighters:

It looks like ISIS has turned on Israel. The last three attacks within a week inside Israel were by ISIS.

the average u.s./e.u. citizen is still unable to conclude that 2+2=4

I remember one of those Jay Leno sidewalk interviews of average citizens walking by: He asked what galaxy the earth is located in. Passersby were stumped, so he added a hint: The galaxy name is also the name of a candy bar. One young woman guessed: “Mars.†Then a man guessed “Babe Ruth.â€

Quick question: anybody knows what "adiabatic compression" means? Hint - it has something to do with gasoline and diesel engines, engines that are actually part of everyday life.
