There are no statistics regarding how mobile homes on rented lots are yet considered owned homes. In American, statistics say from 11 to 20% of homes are abandoned, which again, is impossible. Banks own homes which may or may not be occupied.
So what we have here is an obvious discrepancy to which no clarity has been focused.
I suggest that were mobile homes to be excluded from ‘home ownership’, the true figure would be less than 20%, of which less than 10% have no mortgage having achieved the American dream of TRUE home ownership. Which , of course, is only achievable by paying all taxes, assessments, fees, special costs, legal fees, attachments, etc., on each and every occasion that presents itself.

No one ever seems to mention this, especially people trying to blame “single-payer”* health insurance for delayed and otherwise subpar care, but Canada trains and licenses even fewer physicians per capita than the United States. It’s not a massive difference — around 10% fewer — but it’s enough to have an impact. I can promise that the law courts will screw you when they can. I was involved in a small claims court challenge as a self rep over a contract issue. I won the case. The opposing counsel was laughing after his own witness testified they deliberately screwed me ( in so many words) He told me if he knew that was going to be the testimony he would not have litigated.

Unfortunately, he was employed by the government entity I was suing, and since the City paid lawyers different rates for trials than normal office work, he proceeded to the end of the trial.

The trial judge made palpable and over riding errors and ruled against me. When I appealed the case, the Appeal judge flat out lied. On 7 different occasions the appeal judge completely inverted the facts, invented things or lied. And I mean outrageously lied. The transcripts would state X, and the appeal judge would claim that the transcripts stated Bizarro World X.

Since that was the limits of the appeal process in a case this size, I complained to the body that governs the conduct of the judges. They wouldn’t let me present a case, and they simply stated the appeal judge says similar things to the trial judge. Which was true, but the appeal judge only came to the same conclusions by lying.

If you are expecting a judge to rule against another judge or well connected party when you are a self rep, let me disabuse you of that notion. It was an expensive lesson for me.

You must become your own lawyer, Craig. No one – no lawyer, no advocate – can fight your case better than you can. If you have the knowledge AND the passion, you will be unstoppable. A lawyer is going to drain you of time and money, and they are NOT going to fight like you can, nor will they ever understand your case as well as you. Twice I have gone to court, twice I have represented myself, and I won both times because I knew the law. No lawyer would ever have represented me better than I did myself.

Get to know the law. If lawyers won’t represent you (if there is no upside for them), you will find some who will willingly point you in the right direction, what cases to study, what books to read, how to attack. Pick their brains; then start studying. At first the law can seem quite daunting, but after you become familiar with the terminology and legalese, what worked and what didn’t work in prior cases, you will be amazed at how quickly your expertise grows.

You are an intelligent person. No lawyer can hold a candle to you if you know your stuff. None. And once you know the law, you will KNOW yourself where your case is weak, what further evidence needs to be gathered, etc. These people must be hit in the pocketbook. And don’t just stop with them. Start going after the cities and organizations who toe the SPLC line. Once these people start losing cases and money, they will think twice before ever going after the likes of you. (Why these organizations are allowed to keep their money in the Cayman Islands is beyond me! No doubt they are keeping it out of reach of lawsuits.)

If you personally have no assets, that’s even better. That way they can’t come after you for damages and costs. Someone needs to seriously take on the SPLC. What better person than yourself? See if you can find other like-minded, intelligent people who would be willing to assist you. This is completely doable.

I’ve been reading this site for months, and it’s been an invaluable tool on my path for truth, but this article made me feel the need to finally comment.

In 2004 my mom used OxyContin to take her own life. She wasn’t the poster child for addicts or junkies, she was a vivacious executive, who made friends everywhere she went. Her path down the road to opiates started with an accident. She fractured her spine falling down a flight of stairs, and five failed surgeries later, she was one of those permanent pain management patients. Her doctor pushed OxyContin as if it were a magic bullet, and desperate to get out of pain she started taking it, along with a cocktail of other drugs — all prescribed.

In two years time, she went from being the woman who could do anything, to a shell of her former self. She couldn’t drive, she could barely hold a conversation, and her mood swings were unmanageable. Not to mention the hallucinations — several times she’d call me in the middle of the night, swearing rats were crawling all over her, or ghosts were flying around her bedroom.

Her pain management doctor was no help, so she decided to try NA, hoping to get off the drugs. At the time, she thought she’d rather be in more pain, than continue to be out of her mind. Being a college student, and not knowing anything about withdrawals, I was supportive, taking her to NA meetings. I had no idea how much worse things were going to get.

Six months later, three days after my teenage brother’s birthday, she crushed up the pills, and died alone, with a plastic bag over her head. I found her that night, my grandfather, her father, was with me. I had to watch as he attempted to give CPR to his child’s corpse. As awful as it was, I thank God my brother wasn’t the one to find her.

At the time, I didn’t blame her doctor, or big Pharma, I blamed myself for not seeing the signs, and getting her the help she needed. I still blame myself, but had a Purdue sales rep not lied to her doctor, or had her doctor paid more attention, a college kid wouldn’t have been the last line of defense between life and death.

My family never recovered — my grandparents aren’t the same, and my uncles blame me. One went so far as accusing me of killing her. My brother barely graduated high school, and that was only thanks to me and my grandparents taking responsibility for him. I moved on, got married, have a successful career, and a great life, if you don’t count everyone in my family, except for my grandfather, refusing to speak to me.

I don’t wish ill on anyone, but if there is a hell, I hope the Sackler family finds a nice, toasty spot in it.

They can easily pay for a test taker who uses exotic skills at make up in order to resemble the real student. The Chinese students take one or two years of English classes in Worcester before entering their degree programs. Some make it after one year. They pay cash. Clark is a very expensive school, so the math is quite a surprise when the Chinese money is added up.

As an aside, I would mention that the author’s account of pharm salesmen being enticed with promises of big paydays reminds me of a revelation I (belatedly) had recently. I work hourly-wage for a national retail chain. For the two years I’ve been there, I thought the purpose was to sell sporting goods, shoes and clothes. That is false. The PURPOSE of the store is to sell “protection plans”, AKA the infamous “extended warranties” of car dealerships, and of course to get customers to sign up for credit cards. In other words – get people to pay for useless add-ons which are pure profit, AND get them to go into debt with credit cards. The merchandise is just the excuse to entice people into debt.

All this is good for entertainment but as we get to James Bond version 37 the thinking and intelligent part of the public (which is tiny) got tired of all this shit and decided to stay home, read a good book and order in a medium pizza with all the toppings.

If life mirrors Hollywood it looks to me like this farce has moved into mainstream life. Near to my home there are a dozen cigarette vendors and as many liquor stores and drug stores. If sniffing gas, paint or glue is your thing there are about 5 gas stations and an equal number of hardware stores within a 5 minute drive. There is a conservation area close by where mushrooms, poisonous, edible and who knows what are free for the taking. If you want the real recreational stuff discreet inquiries will garner a a herd of dealers anxious to cater to your every need. Of course if one is a real degenerate one can mix and match any of the above. When you consider that some of these products have ingredients like battery acid and kerosene one can only conclude the user must be a complete idiot.

In the presence of all these temptations the Trickster has never succumbed to to any of these devices for perverse entertainment and recreation.
