Fallen leaves everywhere, of course! Luxembourg belongs to so-called a "Temperate" zone and it has 4 seasons. Its Summer is very moderate to me who come from part of Japan where in Summer it is very hot and very humid and in Winter it used to snow a lot.

Today the weather was good so I took my Hannah out for a while in the afternoon. The weather was good but the air was moist and the ground was wet in the forest. She enjoyed the outdoor excursion.

It is mandatory, as long as I was told and led to believe, to put on or equip winter tires (rated "Mud and Snow" or M+S)during the winter period (November to March). It is also recommended to use winter tires whenever the temperature goes lower than around 7 degrees where the summer tires rubber compounds get too hard to grip the road surface so that the stopping requires longer distance than that required by winter tires (its rubber compounds are softer).

Officially, Luxembourg is in a "Lockdown" state. Chiefly restaurants and bars, where customers can not use their functions without taking off the face mask, are forced to close their doors to the customers and only delivery and to-go orders are allowed as the customers can stay masked while waiting for the food or drinks.

I took the PCR test one week ago and the result was, as expected, negative.

I drove to the car insurance agent's office this morning around 09:30 and the outside temperature was minus 5 Celsius. A freezing temperature that translates to 23 Fahrenheit.

As to the decision to lockdown the country, I have to say, "Does a country called Sweden still exist?" or "Are the Swedes all dead?"

We don't have to do anything at all. They are still fine, I mean the Swedish people. Why a lockdown?

Has President Trump already declared victory?

Not yet as of Today, November 30, 2020? Why not?

I hope he does so in a few days or a week. What is happening in the USA now is a war between democracy as we know of and what opposes it.

Why can so many people stay indifferent to the situation? Get involved!

Xubuntu 20.10 on my HP-Compaq Presario CQ56 (AMD V160)

I upgraded to 20.10 (a.k.a. Linux Kernel ver. 5.8) from 20.04 a week ago and it's has been working well on the surface.

I found a minor annoyance, though with it. The default media player, Parole Media Player, seems to have some problems. It does not properly show the video (ratio, for example 16 x 9, 4 x 3 and so on) in a wrong ratio and it also does not respond well to some commands.

I had to install VLC to avoid using Parole Media Player. I am happy for the moment but some bugs inside Parole have to be terminated.


November 2020 (U.S. Presidential Election is imminent!

I am expecting Donald Trump to win the race by a big margin to convince Joe and Co. and other entities behind him to concede early. He is going to win all the swing States by a margin so big to make Joe lose his mind (if not already).
