initial work on the long-envisioned antimissile site
アメリカは、ヨーロッパを、イランのミサイルから守るための、迎撃
ミサイルの基地をつくりたいようで。
まぁ、ヨーロッパだけじゃなく、アメリカも守るためのもののようで
すが。（そりゃ、そうでしょう、、、）
しかし、当初予算だけで、5600万ドル（60億円ですか）。
"The final cost, including the interceptors themselves, is
estimated at $1.6 billion."
といいますから、1600億円でしょうか、全体で、こんなにかかる
ようですが、、、。
まぁ、日本も、北朝鮮からのミサイルを打ち落とすためのミサイルの
共同開発とか、配備とかで、かなり、お金を出さなきゃならないよう
なことを言ってましたから、他人事じゃないような、、、。（？）
でも、このヨーロッパの場合は、アメリカが全部出してくれるんでしょ？
なんで、日本は、一部、負担しなきゃならないんでしょう、、、？
しかし、ソ連のミサイルから守る必要がなくなったと思ったら、次は
イランからのミサイルですか、、、。
イランの次は、どこのミサイルでしょうねぇ～？

とき、学生と教授たちが、抗議の意思を示したそうで、、、。
まぁ、普通、学生が、抗議で暴れるのはわかりますが、それを、押さ
えるのが、教授たちの仕事かと思いますが、一緒になって、抗議して
るとは、、、。アメリカは、すごい？
