Eli T.’s review published on Letterboxd:
I don’t wanna speak too soon, but Christopher Nolan may finally receive his Oscar because this feels like such a triumph in his career. One of his previous films, Dunkirk, was the start of it, but this film especially separated him further from the world of Sci-Fi and Caped Crusaders. With that being said, the way he told the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer was so unique that I think if anyone else got their hands on the project, it’d be ruined. Granted, it’s a very dialogue driven film, but as a history buff, as well as an obvious movie buff, I got such a kick out it. All in all, no notes, should’ve made time to see the 11 mile long 70mm print though 🫤.
