Amazing in so many ways. Visuals were worth the Imax price. The performances were all great. Cillian was phenomenal. Pugh, Blunt, RDJ, Damon, Hartnett, everyone. Great.
But once again, Christopher does something in his script that makes no sense and treats the audience like assholes.
Why would Alden Ehrenreich be such a dick to his RDJ? Was in on it the whole time? Did he work for Oppenheimer’s gang? Was he just a fan? Did he risk his politico career to spite RDJ? Did the debate committee know and put him up to it? It makes no fucking sense for him to just switch like that.
Infuriating.
