Going into this, my expectations were not set real high. What I’ve always appreciated about the Predator franchise, it never had a central protagonist to revolve around and its versatility of setting. Like you could place the Yautja in modern time, the 1700s with Native Americans, even something they haven’t done like the Wild West or World War II, and it still works. Here, it’s no different, where it’s a coming of age/rite of passage story as told through the Predator franchise.
