Barbie is just so much better than I was expecting, and I was already expecting a lot.
Barbie is just hilarious all the way through, this movie kept hitting jokes at a mile a minute, constant giggles just came out of me for the majority of the film, and major laughs too, particularly the parts like Will Ferrell’s line about the little girls thing, the line poking fun at ZSJL, the whole Ken war and I’m just ken, it’s all just super funny.
Also the whole message of choosing who you are and who you want to be………..hit a little more than I thought I would.
Anyways, I’M JUST KEN, holy shit I love Ryan Gosling, he’s ME, he’s just so entertaining every minute he’s on screen, from his entrance to his song to the part where he’s technically revealed to be the film’s antagonist, it’s so good, all of it.
In fact all the acting is super good, Will Ferrell completely fits his role, Simu Liu is great for the short amount of time he’s on screen, Michael Cera is just incredible as Alan, Ryan Gosling is just the best, I love him, and of course Margot Robbie is just a phenomenal choice for Barbie.
It’s overall just a really fun movie, I highly recommend, and yes I did see it with Oppenheimer.
