Deep and at times terrifying historical biopic/political thriller that is told mostly in first person. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey have delivered career defining acts, one of the finest screen acting displays of modern era.
Nolan crafts an introspective piece that is unlike any biopic we’ve seen before.... the past, present and future all collide, eventually revealing the greater picture as he smoothly rounds things out with an incredible thought provoking ending that is bound to leave everyone speechless.
Every aspect of the film from dialogues, score, cinematography to screenplay are top notch. Making it amazingly dense and incredibly stimulating theatre experience. Truly a crowning achievement for modern cinema. Christopher Nolan’s greatest feat as a director/writer.
