Oppenheimer is an important film and I'm glad it exists. It's very dialogue-driven and it may drag a bit at times. But other than that it's wild, very loud and bigger than life.
It's a massive historical event and it feels like it. The score, the sound, the visuals. It really draws you in, and all you can do is admire it all.
It captures Oppenheimer's point of view perfectly. You really feel empathy for him because he was under immense pressure and the stakes couldn't have been higher.
Two non-superhero movies are bringing people back to the cinema, and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully we keep this up. Barbenheimer all the way.
