Prewatch Review:
I’ve never seen this before. I assume a guy builds the bomb, uses the bomb, regrets using it, and it’s a cautionary tale about the dangers of A.I. Since right now, A.I technology is the new danger.
Okay…now let’s watch:
Love his visions. The poisoned Apple? That’s fucked up.
I like how the crowd’s chairs are always circled around the speaker, making an atom, with the speaker as the nucleus.
I hate his wife, she just wants to drink and not be a mother.
Pugh, I love. But she’s trouble he doesn’t need.
No post credit scene? Kidding.
Amazing performances, RDJ was superb, such a great adversary to Oppenheimer.
Oppenheimer gave the US Govt everything they wanted and more, and they railroaded him.
Such a tortured human being, but he didn’t create the most terrible bomb the world has ever seen.
I’m curious if this was released in Japan, and how Japanese Americans and the Japanese responded to this film?
Having watched all the Bond films, I can say that he is a real life James Bond. He had his way with the ladies, butted heads with authority, he stopped a major war, but was responsible for so many deaths, then his government turned on him, parts of his government.
