Christopher Nolan states that this movie is his greatest achievement and I can get behind that statement. Blood, sweat, tears, and a lot of time was put into the making of Oppenheimer. Just knowing that the entire film was made with practical effects tells you everything you need to know about the effort put in.
The pacing here is just too good, I didn't think I would be able to watch this all in one sitting but I found that absolutely necessary. I think The Oscars can vouch for me when I reaffirm that the acting absolutely pops off as well.
Ludwig Göransson is truly making his mark on the industry and I believe he will go down in the cinema history books as one of the best composers to grace the industry. The films main theme is just otherworldly and one of the most memorable pieces of music I have ever heard. I inadvertently find myself constantly comparing his works to that of the legend Hans Zimmer which is no small thing.
With how many tiny cameos there are from pretty big actors, it’s like everyone knew what this film was going to achieve and just wanted to be a part of it in one way or another.
