Lives up to every bit of hype. Holy Shit.
I mean the whole cast was amazing but Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr give Oscar worthy performances. Could’ve used a little bit more Florence but she did well in her role. Cillian Murphy was the PERFECT man for this role, he embodied it and took us into the mindset of the man who single handily changed the course of history.
This easily is one of my favorite Christopher Nolan film. I mean his DNA is over every aspect and moment of this film. Knowing there was 0 CGI in this movie makes everything about it so much better and they did the most sensational job making the audience feel the bomb. The thrill and terror that the construction of the atomic bomb that this movie brought is just horrifying. They weren’t lying when they said this movie is scary
Overall, this was a masterpiece, my number one of the year so far, go see this.
