i honestly thought this would be terrible, i must admit. But once again, i was deeply wrong (thank goodness)
my first honest thought after leaving the movie theater was: “i think i have never seen a movie so beautiful and jaw dropping in my entire existence.” the surreal feeling of having my breath taken as the bomb exploded… this was definitely the best movie experience i’ve gone through, and it leaves me with a loss of words. i can’t say anything more than “this is a fucking masterpiece”.
one thing i did not like was: the way they made oppenheimer look like a hero. you may disagree with me here, and i totally understand that… but the way they (includes cillian’s incredible job that honestly amazed me again) made robert look somehow innocent is just.. awful. 200 thousand innocent lives were lost. anyway, cillian fucking slayed that role, he deserves everything.
acting, visuals and basically everything are just as satisfying as heaven. this truly is a masterpiece directed by god himself and no one can tell me otherwise.
