As a major history and space freak I was geeked to learn about Christopher Nolan's involvement in Oppenheimer's story. I loved how engaging every scene was thanks to the score, sound design, and visuals (especially the moments syncing with Oppenheimer's mindstate). Cillian Murphy's performance was beautiful! Subtle but with depth where we can feel all of his inner conflicts. The amount of research Nolan's team had to do must of been insane. Oppenheimer was someone who mastered theoretical astronomy, nuclear physics and quantum field theory. Only a true visionary can take a huge figure like that & humanize him from a neutral perspective. To sum this shit up, it's an incredible thought provoking horror flick.
