Heart-wrenching moral dilemma turned to show-stopping grand spectacle.
Nolan’s most unique film and one of his best. I loved how despite this being a biopic, he still implemented so many of his usual tricks to make everything tie in together.
Multiple Oscar-worthy performances, but my god, Cillian Murphy is just otherworldly. Also absolutely adored the score and the sound.
The tribute to Mirror floored me.
Edit: I’ve sat with this for a while and I don’t know when I’m going to get a chance to rewatch it, so I’m just upgrading it to 5 stars now. (Was originally 4.5.)
