LightsConnorAction 🎬’s review published on Letterboxd:
In my eyes Christopher Nolan is the best of best. Consistently creating concepts, characters, twists, dialogue, intricate details that independently may go unnoticed but collectively culminate to create some of the best films I've ever seen. Nolan's cinematic production is unrivalled, however his true super power is his limitless creativity.
Oppenheimer, a biopic, was built on the rigid spine of reality that Nolan had to work with, rather than building the story from complete scratch. By nature this was never going to exceed his previous projects in my eyes, but that shouldn't take anything away from this film.
Chronological interchange made the plot both complex and gripping. Some great casting, Cillian Murphy being the pick of the bunch who should win the oscar.
A film I was very happy to see in the (odyssey) cinema.
