we see all kinds of problems with that so we're going to dive deeper into that geopolitical risk and the mega trend impact that it's having on our profits but before we do that let's introduce 800 pound gorilla number two labor force participation rate blackrock also points out that in 2008 66 of the adults in the u.s wanted jobs they wanted to participate in the labor force now post covid we're down to 62 percnt. according to chat GPT who clearly knows everything a one percent decline in the labor force is 1.6 million people so we've now lost six and half million working adults since 2008 and somehow we thought that removing 6 million people from the workforce wouldn't create wage inflation i mean hard on barbie.

let's dive deeper into that first gorrilla from though the geopolitics 2022 had the second highest oil and gas shock since the 1970s. putin's war took the inflation that was created by kovitz supply chain issues and magnified it. massive food inflation massive energy inflation is everywhere in the world and without getting into a red versus blue debate. inflation is not a u.s problem. helicopter money didn't create our inflation. suply changed it. putin's warded dozens of countries that didn't print any money during covet are facing inflation just like u.s in fact half the world on the screen has double digit inflation
