The Suburban Clerk is a minor character appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
History[]
Background[]
She works as a shopping assistant at the Suburban clothing store on Hawick Avenue. During her first conversation with Michael De Santa, she reveals that her father lost his job.
Events of Grand Theft Auto V[]
She appears in the mission Friend Request when Michael stops by the Suburban on Hawick Avenue to buy some "youthful" clothing. Michael goes to the counter and asks for some geeky or youthful clothing, to which she recommends a vest and cargo shorts. After buying the clothes and leaving the store, she will wish him good luck at the interview.
If Michael returns to the Suburban store he purchased the clothes from, she will ask him how the job interview went. Subsequent visits to the same store (at least three more) will see the attendant and Michael continuing their conversation with unique dialogue.
Character[]
Personality[]
The clerk comes across as snooty and scathing, but she says that its because of the "Suburban vibe", and that she was trained for it. She is also always teasing Michael for his age.
Appearance[]
Her in-game face model is used for Lacey Jonas, Kerry McIntosh in GTA V, and is also shared by certain NPCs who can be found around the rich parts of Los Santos, and other Suburban cashiers.
