D is a minor character appearing in Grand Theft Auto V.
History[]
Background[]
At one point, D joined the Ballas gang, and became a high-ranking and respectable OG member. He previously knew Lamar, and had been to his house "when he was in diapers".
Events of Grand Theft Auto V[]
Lamar had intentions to kidnap D in exchange for $40,000, in order to make some easy money for himself and Franklin. The two later discovered D in an alleyway located on Vinewood Boulevard, where he was attempting to solicit a prostitute. Before he can, Lamar and Franklin confront him wearing bandanas. Lamar then attempts to threaten him by taking out his pistol, but D then speeds off on his motorbike, which leads to a chase. D is then hit off his bike by a bus, forcing him to flee on foot. Franklin and Lamar's pet dog, Chop, pursue and eventually capture D, then load him into Lamar's van. On the way to Lamar's house, Franklin is forced to free D after Lamar used his cell phone to call in the ransom, inadvertently revealing their location to the police. D then runs off, shouting that they will meet again.
After this event, Lamar and D set up a drug deal at a scrapyard in La Puerta, Lamar later arrives at the deal with Franklin and the recently released Families OG Stretch. The deal turns out to be an ambush by the Ballas, to which Stretch proceeds to aggressively shoot an unarmed D twice in the head in cold revenge, killing him instantly. The three manage to escape the Ballas, and eventually the police, who were arriving to the scene of the gun fight.
Due to the amount of Ballas killed at the scrapyard and the presence of the three Families members, the infamous hostility between the Ballas and the Families' reignites, forcing Stretch to try to make peace with the Ballas, which he puts the blame on Franklin and Lamar.

Character[]
Personality[]
Despite his reputation in the Ballas, D does not conduct himself in a very gangster-like manner. He is shown to be cowardly, extensively fleeing from Franklin and Lamar when they try to kidnap him, and exhibiting fear and anxiety when he is eventually captured. When he meets with Franklin, Lamar, and Stretch, he acts friendly with them initially, suggesting he also has a two-faced nature. When Stretch executes him, once again D chooses not to fight, but rather beg for his life. As another sign of D's poor judgement, he is never seen carrying any weapons in either of his appearances, instead relying on his fellow gang members to deal with his kidnappers.
Appearance[]
D is an African-American male of average size, with short black hair and a heavy beard. He has two outfits of similar composition, both composed almost entirely of Boars Baseball Club regalia. The first has a black pork pie hat, a grey-and-black varsity jacket over a purple T-shirt, baggy dark blue jeans, and white, black, and purple sneakers similar to Jimmy De Santa's. His second outfit has a black cap with a gold logo, a purple-and-black varsity jacket over a black T-shirt, baggy blue jeans, and two-tone white sneakers with purple laces.
