Snowmen are a seasonal collectible in Grand Theft Auto Online, added as part of the continuation of Los Santos Drug Wars update during the Festive Surprise 2022 event. Uncollected snowmen returned for the Festive Surprise 2023 event.
Description[]
There are 25 Snowmen scattered throughout the state of San Andreas, located at different locations. Sleigh bell sounds can be heard on loop when within 75 meters of a Snowman, until it is destroyed.
There are 3 variations of snowmen:
Snowmen can be destroyed in various ways:
- Hitting them with a vehicle, even at average speed.
- Note - All vehicle occupants get credit for the destruction, not just the driver.
- 3 Snowball hits.
- Heavy weapons and explosives, including EMPs and vehicle rockets.
- Firework Launcher (may require multiple hits).
- Fire damage.
- Snowmen can be destroyed with flames but may not immediately register as "Destroyed" until the flames fully melt the base of the snowman.
After destroying the first Snowman, the player can track all 25 Snowmen in the Collectibles section of the Interaction Menu.
After collecting 25 Snowmen, the interaction menu stat will be 25/25.

Rewards[]
Each collected Snowman rewards the player with $5,000 and 1,000RP.
Collecting all 25 Snowmen will reward the player with The Snowman Outfit and an extra $125,000.

Oversights[]
- Snowmen may not register as "collected" if destroyed in certain ways. Should this happen for any reason, using explosives on the spot where the problematic snowman used to stand should rectify this issue.
