Head straight to Blaine County and join up with old pal Nervous Ron and a new band of out-of-state misfits on a mission to put their stamp on the Los Santos psychedelics trade. Fight off an unlikely coalition of wealthy hippies and trigger-happy bikers while cooking up potent hallucinogenics — in elaborate labs or out of your own massive rolling chemistry set — in the opening chapter of an expansive new two-part story update for GTA Online.
Caution: Los Santos Drug Wars contains a range of wild side effects, including a new business enterprise to operate, new vehicles and missions, and experiential upgrades. First Dose[]

First Dose is a set of six missions involving performing various tasks for the Fooliganz. This set of missions are the "opening chapter" of a two-part story, of which the second half, Last Dose, released on March 16th.

Random Event: Weazel Plaza Shootout[]
A new Random Event, the Weazel Plaza Shootout, was added for a limited time during the Festive Surprise 2022 event. This random event, a reference to the 1988 Christmas action movie Die Hard, can reward the player with the WM 29 Pistol if the Bank Robbers from the event are defeated.
Random Event: The Gooch[]
A new Random Event, The Gooch, was added for a limited time during the Festive Surprise 2022 event. This event features a Grinch-like character that mugs the player of their Money and Snacks. Players who chase after the Gooch and defeat it get their money back as well as an extra cash bonus and The Gooch Mask.
Snowmen Collectibles[]
A new Snowmen Collectible was added for a limited time during the Festive Surprise 2022 event, with a total of 25 snowmen to find and destroy in order to receive a cash prize and the Snowman outfit.
Gun Van[]
The Gun Van opened for business with the release of the Gun Van Week event. The Gun Van offers discounted, "gray-market" weapons to players, including the previously unavailable Coil Railgun.
Taxi Work[]

Taxi Work was added to the game during the Taxi Work Week event. It allows players to work for Downtown Cab Co. via picking up customers in a Taxi and driving them to their destinations.
Street Dealers[]

Street Dealers were added during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week. Similarly to the Gun Van, three drug dealers will spawn in new locations each day to buy player's drug supplies, with one product type attracting a premium price. This is a returning feature from Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
G's Caches[]

G's Caches were added during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week. A daily collectible package offering Cash, Snacks, and Ammo will be hidden by Gerald.
Stash Houses[]

Added during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week. A random daily Stash House will be available to raid for Product. This is a returning feature from Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Random Event: Shop Robbery[]
A new Random Event, Shop Robbery, was added during Eclipse Blvd Garage Week. Players can come across armed robbers escaping various stores, kill them, and decide whether to keep the money for themselves or return it to the owner.

- The Benefactor Terrorbyte can now launch Business Sell Missions from all lobby types.
- Newly purchased vehicles from websites are delivered to Garages faster.
- Select Weaponized Vehicles previously barred from Races are allowed to race with weapons disabled.
- Bicycles can now be requested for delivery from Garages with the Mechanic.
- [E&E] Players on PS5 and XSX/S Editions now have full access to all Hao's Special Works features without needing to complete Hao's introductory race.
Vehicle Pricing Adjustments[]
On April 13th 2023, various pricing adjustments to multiple weaponized and armored vehicles were announced[1]. These adjustments aim to increase accessibility towards vehicles with "fun and unique features and counter-attacking capabilities", while decreasing accessibility towards vehicles with "outsized utility, performance, or powerful weaponry". These adjustments went into effect beginning April 27th at the start of Last Dose Hard Mode Week.

On April 13th 2023, a replacement for the custom license plates feature of the discontinued IFruit App was announced.
Starting next week, you'll be able to add more personality to your favorite rides with a new web-based License Plate Creator for customizing vanity plates in GTA Online. With this new tool you can create up to 30 custom plates by placing orders via desktop or mobile web browsers — and then pick up and apply your plate in game.”
It went live on April 20th during Shake Up and Top Marks Week.
