Joseph Putnam Willson (1902-1998) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Willson was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on June 8, 1953, to a seat vacated by Owen Burns; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 14, 1953, and received his commission on July 15th. He assumed senior status on October 18, 1968, and served in that capacity until his death on August 3, 1998.[1] Wilson was succeeded in this position by Joseph Weis (Third Circuit).
