Wilson McCandless (1810-1882) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
He was nominated by President James Buchanan on February 3, 1859. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 8, 1859, and received commission that same day.[1] He retired on July 24, 1876. McCandless was succeeded in this position by Winthrop Welles Ketcham.
