Latham Castle (1900-1986) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.[1]
Castle was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on February 26, 1959, to a seat vacated by Philip Finnegan; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 29, 1959, and received his commission on April 30th. He served as chief judge from 1968 until he assumed senior status on February 26, 1970, and served in that capacity until his death on March 10, 1986.[1]
