William Alvah Stewart (1903-1953) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Stewart was nominated by President Harry Truman on February 27, 1951, to a seat vacated by Nelson McVicar; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 24, 1951, and received his commission on April 25th. He served until his death on April 9, 1953. Stewart was succeeded in this position by John Lester Miller.
