Thurmond Clarke (1902-1971) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Clarke was nominated to the Southern District of California by President Dwight Eisenhower on June 21, 1955, to a new seat created by 68 Stat. 8; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 1, 1955, and received his commission on August 3, 1955. In 1966, he served as the chief judge. He served the Southern District of California until he was assigned to the Central District of California on September 18, 1966. From 1966-1970. he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on September 1, 1970. He served the Central District of California until his death on February 28, 1971.
