Arthur Jehu Stanley, Jr. (1901-2001) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Stanley was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on June 25, 1958, to a seat vacated by Arthur Mellott; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 3, 1958, and received his commission on July 7th. He served as chief judge from 1961 until he assumed senior status on April 1, 1971. He served in this capacity until his death on January 27, 2001.[1] Stanley was succeeded in this position by Earl O'Connor.
