Nathaniel Ewing (1848-1914) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

He received a recess appointment from President Theodore Roosevelt on September 25, 1906 to fill a seat vacated by Joseph Buffington. On December 3rd of that same year, he was officially nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 11th, and received commission that same day. He resigned on January 31, 1908.[1] Ewing was succeeded in this position by James Scott Young.
