Batton Patterson McCune (1915-2008) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

McCune was nominated by President Richard Nixon on December 8, 1970, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294;[1] he was confirmed by the Senate on December 16, 1970, and received commission two days later. He assumed senior status on April 1, 1985, and served in that capacity until his death on September 10, 2008. McCune was succeeded in this position by William Standish.
