Got the opportunity to see this modern day masterpiece in the cinema and OMG it was somehow even better than I’d hoped. It blew my tiny little mind and I feel like my soul ascended! Pure non-stop adrenaline fuel, and a prime example of filmmaking magic of the highest order imaginable. It’s nothing short of sheer perfection from start to finish, with incredible world building, insane visuals and underrated acting and character work. Charlize Theron in particular is phenomenal as Furiosa (so hyped for the film, even if it’s not her) and I genuinely believe ‘Nux’ is a top tier character, with a perfectly written arc.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest action films ever made and I could easily watch a 6 hour cut of “Fury Road”. What a film! What a spectacle! What an experience!
