‘Fury Road’ is epic! I sat in the theatre, not wanting it to end.
Had the pleasure of seeing this in a theatre with dolby atmos surround sound.
In a future this primitive, everything should be simple. But nothing really is.
The morals in this film are relatively grey, yet there is no doubt what and who is good and what is evil.
I get why ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ became a success, it’s clearly very unique to the action genre, it’s gritty and gory and absurd, but you immediately buy the premise.
I laughed and I cried to the powerful soundtrack and score from the incredible Dolby Atmos speakers, what a thrilling action film this is.
470 hours of footage is mental, props to Margaret Sixel for making this work out, while they had enough footage for about 30 Grey’s Anatomy seasons, it didn’t feel like ‘Fury Road’ was missing anything despite 468 hours being cut. That must’ve been one hell of a puzzle. Imagine how many different films and outcomes we could have had.
I wasn’t expecting to see Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough and Courtney Eaton in this, but it was delightful.
Really looking forward to ‘Furiosa’ next year.
Edit: I’d embarass future me if I didn’t rate this 5 stars.
