kicking off 2024 with a bang
a big fucking bang
Fury Road is the prime example of a modern day classic and a landmark in technical filmmaking like no other. the intoxicating visuals amplify the high octane action to extravagant levels; Junkie XL’s epic score galvanise the thunderous set pieces so appealingly and are some of the most astonishing sequences in film; Charlize Theron is a badass, Tom Hardy is fantastic (what else would you expect).
this movie bellows with greatness and is an all time favourite of mine. revisiting it has stoked a flame of radical joy and happiness within me and it’s one i will relish forever.
Furiosa cannot come any sooner. this Summer we will see history repeat itself once again. mark my words.
