Magnificent mainstream tribute to B-Movies; fetishization of engines + feminist, matriarchal, anti-conservative story full of badasses, tension & humor. Apotheosis of frenetic, kinetic cinema generating 999 cool ideas per minute (flamethrower-electric-guitar!); fuel, gunfire, sand & deadly dose of adrenaline. Simply the greatest sci-fi of this century next to Under the Skin & Children of Men. Look forward to see Furiosa, although I doubt it'll be as superb as this piece of art.
