will never be able to wrap my head around how george miller did this. the greatest, most impressive, and unhinged action filmmaking to ever exist. the closest i’ll ever feel to having a religious experience. 

LOOOVE when they defeat the buzzards and the war boys let out a battle cry, which then cuts to the skulls attached to the front of the war rig with their mouths open — making it look like the war rig is celebrating with its own battle cry as well. ALSO the sound of the war rig breathing in air through the intake after it was engulfed in flames. this fucking film man.
