Definitely has to be recognized as one of the best tandem viewing experiences, regardless of what order you even do it in. I started today with cutting edge surveillance/attack helicopters from the 1980s. Then hung out with some 1950s Chicago Harley riders before spending 5+ hours in the Australian fallout to play in the sand and rev engines. I can’t lie to you it felt like an ultimate dudes Monday for me and I certainly won’t complain about that or getting to watch any of these movies.
This film hits like a truck even more thanks to the prequel. Furiosa working on the underside of the rig during the sunset, the pain of being too late, returning to nothing only to earn your redemption exactly where everything was stolen from you is rewarding to an extraordinary level.
