That scene from The Boys where Homelander is exhaling in disbelief is me throughout this movie.
It's always nice to get in on the ground floor with any film before the hype. I recall seeing this opening weekend with a friend and being blown away by what I saw on screen. I had a feeling the film was going to be good, but nothing could have prepared me for experiencing one of the greatest action films of all time.
After many rewatches, I still love it the same way I did the first time. The detail in action, characterization, and intensity is unmatched. It truly feels like a shot of adrenaline that never lets up. I'm thrilled to see George Miller expand on this franchise with a character that is developed perfectly in this film.
