Me last week: WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
Me this week: WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!!
So, back in 2016, I had the chance to watch Mad Max: Fury Road, but I ended up falling asleep. Yeah, I know, what was I thinking? Fast forward to now, and I finally gave it another shot. Let me tell you, I feel like a total idiot for missing out on this masterpiece the first time around.
From the get-go, this movie just grabs you and doesn't let go. George Miller is a genius. The action scenes are insane, like, my jaw was on the floor the entire time. The stunts, the explosions, the crazy car chases—it's all just so epic.
Charlize Theron as Furiosa? Absolute badass. She brings so much intensity and heart to the role. And Tom Hardy as Max is perfect—he doesn't say much, but he doesn't need to. The two of them together are just magic.
Visually, this movie is stunning. The post-apocalyptic world they create is wild, and the way it's all shot is just beautiful. Plus, the soundtrack by Junkie XL is killer and just amps up the energy even more.
Honestly, I'm kicking myself for not seeing this on the big screen back in 2015. The reason I finally watched it now is because of the Furiosa movie coming out next week, and seeing this has got me even more hyped for it. If you haven't watched Mad Max: Fury Road yet, drop everything and do it NOW!!. It’s one of the most thrilling, intense movies I've ever seen. Trust me, you won't regret it.
