Well, here we are. Another year comes and goes in an instant. And I have no clue what my first film of 2025 will be. And I only got through 10 of my 30 films in my 2024 watchlist challenge.


So…wow.


I’m in a much different place than I was at the end of last year. This year was awful for me in real life as I’ve unfortunately made painfully clear. Was it bad here? Not exactly. This year I hit 1K followers, something I never expected when I first made my way on here in 2021. That was something! I know so many lovely people who still stay strong through it all, and that’s not even mentioning that I’m still alive even though life has felt like hell lately.


I have no idea how 2025 will shake out. Hopefully I get my life together and hopefully I don’t lose anything thanks to our “president.” There’s a lot of uncertainty. I just hope to be with the ones I love and to strengthen the relationships I have…and to save one that I want to grow. I just hope I can break the cycle of hurt and losing.


Also, 2025 looks like I’ll be delving more into past or indie works as the current mainstream continues to be in the flop era. Wherever I go when it comes to the art forms I’m passionate about, I hope it’s the most exciting year when it comes to watching movies yet!
