While it wasn’t the best year ever for the world, 2023 was actually a pretty good year for me!

I reached 100 Followers on Instagram and Letterboxd respectively, my art skills improved and made new OC’s, I graduated High School, I got accepted into some dream Colleges, community college prerequisites is going pretty good so far, I made new friends, I visited my favorite theme parks Universal and Cedar Point, I got a job during the summer and Across the Spiderverse and Godzilla Minus One blew me away. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows though, I got into some drama on Letterboxd, I didn’t like any of my college classes even though I passed, I didn’t learn to drive which I planned too, I’m unsure of which college I want to go too and I ended up watching my new least favorite film of all time (We’ll get into that later) but looking back, it was a solid 7/10 year for me and was a significant improvement over the previous three years this awful decade had to offer.

As for 2024, it’s already planning to be a pretty ambitious year for my personal life, I’m planning on going to an Animation Class at my community college before transferring to the actual college I want to go too during the fall (still haven’t figured out which one it will be yet) but what about my online presence and artwork?

For Instagram I plan on making more reels to help myself better in the algorithm. For YouTube I’m gonna get myself back on track for posting art on my YouTube community tab and hopefully get a “first thought” review if College doesn’t burn me out, I’m gonna work more on the Sentients script and I’m also planning on starting a Newgrounds hoping that will be a better platform for my art to grow. As for Letterboxd, remember me mentioning my new least favorite film of all time? I’m gonna go more into detail on it in either January or February….

other than that, expect the same old same old for Letterboxd. I’m not sure about Discord though, maybe I could join more servers but time will tell.

Before I end this off, I wanna thank you guys for everything that’s happened, you gave me advice about my art and have been awesome friends, without you guys, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

Regardless of how 2024 turns out, no matter how rough it is, I pray for the best for all of you, Happy New Year!
