This feels like a nightmare.
I want to cry. I want to punch a goddamn wall. I even wanted to vomit. I don’t wanna entirely blame voters here, but it’s still spinning in my mind how America chose a raging fascist over democracy. I’m having a hard time believing any of this is real.
I’m scared like all of you. Actually, scared would be an understatement. But like I’ve said before, the worst thing we can do right now is give into hopeless and despair.
Don’t take your life. Don’t detransition. Don’t do anything drastic. Your life and mental health is important, and it’s better to stay strong than give up. It’s understandable to be upset and afraid right now, but you can’t let it consume you.
I’m gonna keep living. I’m gonna keep doing what I do. I’m gonna keep being me.
Because somebody fucking has to.
