Paint Drying 2016

A couple hours ago I got a notification on my phone that I got a new follower. I didn't really think of it much, but it turned out it was my 1000th follower

To say that I don't know how I got here would be an understatement. I'm dumbfounded as to how I even got here. I mean, I don't see why I should get this honor. I mean, I've written like, what, maybe 5 good reviews?

Actually nah, that's too nice, but that's beside the point

But I don't know how I managed to get to 1000 followers. I don't see how I deserve it, I certainly haven't earned it, and there are definitely people who deserve this more than me. I've just been writing some of my thoughts on here, and they're sporadic to say the least.

That being said, I can't thank y'all enough for it.

I have met some truly incredible people here, I have had some amazing conversations, and I have heard about and seen some phenomenal films I wouldn't have seen otherwise. I mean, in the time I've been here, I've gotten into foreign films, found out about the wonders of Studio Ghibli, discovered a great film with an overly long title, and got into the works of many great directors (David Lynch I love that man).

And a lot of that is thanks to y'all. This amazing group, these amazing people,

This amazing community of film lovers.

I would name some special people on here, but I'm afraid the list would be too long. Y'all are amazing, and I'm so happy to have found y'all. I'm still gonna be on here, I'm still going to write my subpar-if-lucky reviews, and I'm still going to be talking with y'all about the wonders of cinema
