And more violent insurrections when someone hurts his baby-shit-soft feelings.

Do you like free speech? Film and culture, weed and porn, the protection of protest and the unfettered ability to decline participating in any religion that might otherwise seek to capture your soul? The ability to think out loud, to negotiate controversial topics thoughtfully in public spaces? Vote Harris.

Do you like women, and wish the government would stop fucking killing our sisters with restrictive abortion bans that reduce them to second class citizenship and subject them to the cruel whims of a system that doesn't always give a shit about them? Vote Harris.

Do you like thinking the future has a chance? Where queer rights are protected, where marginalized communities have a voice, where cruelty does not govern policy? Vote Harris.

I could go on. Do you want prices to drop? Trump's unilateral tariffs is a pretty fucking good way to make sure that never happens.

I’m exhausted. 8 years of Trump’s endless vainglorious petty sinister ramblings will do that to you. Remembering January 6th – when he whipped up a lethal mob to violently attack the heart of American democracy because he couldn’t emotionally handle losing – will do that to you.

People died that day, and he shrugged it off and put the focus back on himself, because that is the only person he knows how to focus on. Literal death does not move him, but the whispering irritation of his own hurt feelings puts him in a blind, selfish rage. He has that in common with drooling, belligerent toddlers.

Please vote Harris so your future self can breathe a sigh of relief and know you were the kind of person who took a stand when things were bleak. Please vote Harris because she is the only sane adult in this election.

I understand those who are hesitant to endorse her because of the violence in Gaza – who would rather vote 3rd party than cast a ballot that could be interpreted as being in favor of that violence.

But Jill Stein is not a serious candidate. She is not someone who runs for local office, or gets involved during the off-season. She comes around every 4 years to make her career as someone who serially runs for president, and picks off the votes of the undecided like a vulture. She is an unserious person who will seriously never win.

Very seriously, the President will either be Harris or it will be Trump. Trump will not de-escalate that violence, but with Harris there is a chance.

Vote Harris like it’s the last chance, because it might be. Vote like the future depends on it, because it does.
