Movies that won the Academy Award for best animated feature film and if I agree with it or not. 


2001: Shrek

Do I agree? Yes


2002: Spirited Away

Do I agree? Yes (not like there was much competition)


2003: Finding Nemo

Do I agree? Yes


2004: The Incredibles

Do I agree? Yes (would've also been happy with Shrek 2)


2005: Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit

Do I agree? Yeah


2006: Happy Feet

Do I agree? FUCK NO! 


Who should've won? Cars should've won! 


2007: Ratatouille 

I agree it deserved to win, no contest


2008: WALL*E

I agree it deserved the win, though would've also been happy with Kung Fu Panda


2009: Up 

I don't exactly agree it should've won, it was a great movie although I thought Fantastic Mr Fox was better 


2010: Toy Story 3

It was a excellent movie, it's Pixar's best film of all time although How to Train Your Dragon was also great just not as good as Toy Story 3


2011: Rango

While I love Rango, I personally thought Kung Fu Panda 2 was a better movie tbh I think it definitely deserved its win but I would've preferred the other movie. 


2012: Brave

Nah this film didn't deserve to win, it really shouldve been Wreck-It Ralph


2013: Frozen

I'll have to rewatch all these movies to see if I agree with its win but tbh Frozen is definitely overrated (still found it enjoyable)


2014: Big Hero 6

Would've personally gave it to How to Train your Dragon 2 instead tbh, it was the overall better movie. 


2015: Inside Out 

It's not even a competition, well earned victory. 


2016: Zootopia 

Just a overall great movie, well earned


2017: Coco

No contest, well earned. 


2018: Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse

Yeah, pretty fucking good 10/10 Marvel movie. 


2019: Toy Story 4 

Not really deserved, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World should've won instead of this movie or Klaus. 


2020: Soul

Not much of a contest really, well earned. 


2021: Encanto

As much as I liked Encanto, I think it should've gone to The Mitchells vs The Machines, just an overall better movie tbh. 


2022: Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 

I haven't watched this yet, but I'll say deserved for now until I watch it. 


2023: The Boy and The Heron

Haven't watched either 


2024: ????

I think the winner will be Inside Out 2
