Overview[]
Terrain and Ecology[]
Warm is a trading port situated in the Central Lands on a hillside near a large body of water. The town is surrounded by a high wall and has many houses, bars, and shops, such as a dessert shop that overlooks the sea with stunning views of the sunset.
Small vegetation and bushes are scattered across Warm's landscape, alongside cypress-like trees. In the city itself, the townsfolk grow colorful flowers and greenery in flower pots and planters. Cats appear to wander around the town, and gull-like seabirds are attracted to the port.
The Village[]
The village next to the port consists of many box-shaped houses with orange roofings and is encircled with a stone wall. Within the village are many shops and a plaza, where merchants can be found selling their goods. Additionally, the village has a tavern and an inn, the former being a popular places for adventurers to gather and the latter being the location Frieren and Fern lodged at during their time in the city.
Additionally, the village boasts a dessert shop with clear views of the sunset. This site is recommended by rough-looking adventurers that have a sweet tooth.[1]
Synopsis[]
Beyond Journey's End Arc[]
Frieren and Fern arrive in Warm to replenish supplies for their journey, with Fern in charge of the necessities and Frieren supposedly in charge of restocking herbs and other items. Fern does not trust Frieren due to the face she is making, which signals that she is hiding something. Wary of Frieren's past purchases, Fern chooses to follow Frieren around Warm to understand what she is planning.
Frieren arrives at an accessory stall, and Fern observes Frieren struggling to make a decision. Frieren ultimately makes a purchase, and she gathers information on snack locations in town from rough-looking adventurers at a tavern before heading back to the inn. Realizing she was late in completing her own tasks, Fern stops following Frieren and goes back to purchase their supplies.

After rendezvousing, Frieren invites Fern out to eat, and the pair goes to a dessert restaurant that Frieren was recommended. Fern guesses Frieren's order, which Himmel had also managed to do during the Hero Party's journey. Frieren, downcast, apologizes to Fern for not knowing much about her. She then gives Fern a hair ornament for her birthday, which Fern happily accepts. She tells Frieren that even her attempts to get to know her bring her joy.
The duo then leaves Warm and continues on their journey, with Fern now keeping the hair ornament firmly fastened on her head.

- "Warm" in German / Dutch / English refers to moderate heat. In all three languages, it can be used as both an adjective and a verb. The German phrase "warm ums Herz" (which translates to "warm your heart" in English) is used when someone expresses an emotion of deep comfort and joy.
