Bohne Village 「ボーネ
Overview[]
Bohne Village is a sizable human settlement, presumably situated near the checkpoint at Kino Pass. Surrounded by flatlands and bordered by forests, it also has mountainous areas nearby. During the Liberation Festival, the village becomes a lively hub with various stalls offering a wide range of food. It is home to numerous houses and buildings, including a bell tower, possibly part of a church. In the village square stands a statue of Himmel the Hero.
Synopsis[]
History[]
More than seven years into the Hero Party's journey, Himmel defeated a 10-meter-long serpent near Bohne Village.[1]
After the defeat of the Demon King, the Hero Party passed through Bohne Village on their return to the Royal Capital. While in the village, they overheard a story that exaggerated the serpent's size, turning the 10-meter creature Himmel had slain into a 100-meter-long beast.[1]
Imperial Territory Travels Arc[]
Thirty-one years after the death of Himmel the Hero, Frieren's Party arrives in Bohne Village during the Liberation Festival, a celebration marking the anniversary of the Demon King's defeat. The village mayor invites Frieren, Fern, and Stark to stay for the festivities.
During the festival, they visit a statue of Himmel, which is believed to bring good luck if touched. Upon arrival, they notice that the statue has been completely altered. Frieren explains that this is typical in Imperial Territory, where the Empire often deifies deceased heroes. Though Stark feels uneasy about the changes, Frieren reassures him that the villagers mean no harm and sincerely revere Himmel.
After the festival ends, Frieren's Party continues their journey to Aureole.
