The region around the Royal Capital is shown to be flat with occasional hills, and the city was built near a river. It appears to be a central hub for trade. Cobblestone roads lead to the Capital. The area has meadows and small, lush forests with predominantly deciduous trees, which are partially used for farmlands. Birds inhabit the city, and various species of flowers and insects populate the meadows. Residents can be seen raising livestock, such as geese and cattle, and horses, which they use for traveling and pulling carriages.

Outskirts[]
Outside of the city is a lush forest with a ravine and bridge, which serves as the location for the Hero Party's disbandment.

Beyond Journey's End Arc[]
The Hero Party makes a triumphant return to the Royal Capital after defeating the Demon King. They are congratulated by the King in his palace, and statues of the party are erected in their honor. As the party members celebrate in the plaza, they reminisce about their long, ten-year adventure and express gratitude for the opportunity to adventure together. At the same time, the party watches the Era Meteors occur, and they all vow to meet again to watch the meteor shower again fifty years later.

The reunited Hero Party watches the Era Meteors again, 50 years later.
The next day, the party members depart in the outskirts of the city to go their separate ways, with Frieren going on a journey to acquire more magic throughout the Central Lands.
