Dale S. Fischer is a federal judge on senior status with the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She joined the court in 2003 after being nominated by President George W. Bush. She assumed senior status on May 1, 2024.[1][2]

Early life and education

A native of New Jersey, Fischer graduated from the University of South Florida with her bachelor's degree in 1977 and graduated from Harvard Law School with her juris doctorate in 1980.[1]

Central District of California

Fischer was nominated to the United States District Court for the Central District of California by President George W. Bush on May 1, 2003, to a new seat created by 116 Stat. 1758, which was approved by Congress. Fischer was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on October 27, 2003, on an unopposed 86-0-14 vote and received her commission on November 5, 2003.[3]
